      Absolutely ridiculous that memberships can't be cancelled online. They have the website set up for it already as its required in ********** but everyone else needs to mail a written letter? I'm a student. I don't have time to be chasing a gym around. This isn't the mafia. I wouldn't recommend this place to ANYONE. Using archaic and difficult methods to cancel but allowing membership upgrades with one click. This company is scum.

      I have been a loyal member of Planet Fitness for over 10 years. Last year, I transferred my membership to my brother's name, yet the payments continued to be withdrawn from my account. Now, I wish to transfer the membership back to my name. However, the club manager has informed me that this is not possible and that I must cancel the current membership and sign up anew, resulting in an increased monthly fee from $10 to $15.This policy is not only unreasonable but also penalizes long-term members. According to Planet Fitness policies, monthly memberships are non-transferable between individuals. However, the initial transfer was permitted, and payments continued from my account, indicating a lack of consistency in policy enforcement.

      I have had an account for over a year and hardly used it. Tried to go online to cancel the account and they don't have it so you can cancel the membership. Called them today and they are closed for renovations and want me to travel to ********** location to cancel the account. No matter the age, I think you should be able to cancel through your account online or by phone. I would never recommend this company.

      I have been a ** member for at least 8 years. Last week the attendant chased me down yelling my name through the gym to announce I didn't have a CC on file. (The card apparently expired in 2019....hello, its 2024) EXTREMELY RUDE AND EMBARRASSING. I don't carry a CC and my account is paid for by my company. Today they literally kicked me out of the gym because I don't want to give them my CC when my company pays for the membership. I WILL BE CHANGING GYMS. My company will be pulling the membership as well. I believe there are 7 of us that have memberships.

      I have been using PF gym for almost 5 years never had any bad experience.But today I was using incline bench for shoulder press as I other people are ********* of staff member came to me with another ** member and said hay this bench belongs to hammer strength machine so please give it to other member.I told her Im using it and only one set left but she said no we need that bench right now.I feel discriminated ,like is Im not paying membership or does some people should be treated special somehow.I didnt make a fuss and and after my workout I went to front desk to complain about that this is not the way you ask people. But nobody at desk listen my complain and when I ask for there manager name,email,or complain website or form they said firstly we cannot give our name to you and we dont have manager at location .they also said they doesnt know any complaints number or email because they doesnt have main computer access so come next day. it doesnt feel professional and how staff treat members its disrespectful. They never let you finish your point when I tried to confront they just ignore you.

      I tried to cancel my membership as it states you have to. I sent multiple letters canceling my membership starting back in February. They not only won't cancel my membership but are taking multiple payments out of my account. I tried calling corporate and my exact location and no one answers or gets back to you. I can not drive to the location because I am not allowed to drive due to passing out spells and the person that I joined with broke their back so they can no longer drive there. Don't trust this company because they say you matter and you can quite if you want and then refuse to acknowledge that happening.

      I was lied to when I cancelled my membership. I was informed that I had to pay for an additional month before I could cancel. I think this would be considered fraud.

      I was very mis informed when I joined it was $3,00 down and first payment not to come out until May 17th instead it came out April 17th putting me in the negative and so I went to cancel my member ship and the snobby manager ******* gives me attitude the entire time telling me you should have read what you signed with no compassion for me that I am out $25 this not ok given that I just joined on Sunday and I feel they should refund me

      The business main moto is exceptional customer service and no judgment gym. I felt today while I asked for hydro massage that I have been racially profile for one of the front desk member. His name is ****** and I asked him Could you please turn on the one of the flat beds his response was this is not how you say it. You should say please turn on ********* massage chair. I felt so miserable and racial abused that I dont belong here. I dont want to continue where I am being judged or racism is present. I need full refund and cancellation of the service

      Hi everyone, I saw your ad on ******** and I am interested in signing up. Unfortunately, there appears to be a discrepancy between the ******** ad and the website regarding the enrollment fee. The ad states a $0 enrollment fee, while the website indicates a $13.37 fee. This situation seems unfair and unprofessional because it provides conflicting and misleading information to customers. Could you please explain what is happening? To gain clarification, I called your Merivale location and initially spoke with a staff member who mentioned a $1 fee. However, she later stated that $13.37 is for "Pro" fees. When I checked online, there was no mention of a pro-rated fee; it was clearly indicated as an enrollment fee. I have attached pictures that I took today, June 5, 2023, along with your promo for the Black Card, which is valid until June 14, 2023. I sent these to the ** Merivale location via email. Unfortunately, the staff member did not seem to grasp the specific issue and instead attempted to cover up the mistakes. The actual amount is not the main concern; the problem lies with the incorrect and deceptive promotional tactics. All I am looking for is a promotion that does not involve an enrollment fee. Your hidden "pro" fee was not mentioned on your promo flyer or website, which raises questions about the legitimacy of this offering. As a new customer, I am left with a negative impression.Regards,FK
