      On 2/23/22 we agreed to pay $10,000 to Mark L**** for him to tear down and rebuild lake wall. He required $5000 at the front end and $5000 at the end. We paid him the $5000 and on March 23, he said he couldn't repair it because we have bigger issues with the dock. He said we need to have a new solution . The general contractor said the wall was doable. On the 26th , he had not responded and my contractor said sorry. I then text messaged him and said "to let me know and return my $5000. He said he would return $3000 of the $5000 because he already had labor and material bills. Then days later he said he wouldn't' t give us anything back.

      We later had someone build the wall for $5000 , including removing the 100's of pounds of sand and mortar that Mark had left and was not needed.
