1 starOn July 27th Verizon charged my credit card $59.70 after I had cancelled my Verizon service and switched to T-***** on July 3rd. On August 5th I received an email from Verizon stating that my credit is on the way, and that I would receive a separate email with an update within 48 hours. To date, I have not received an email or the $59.70 refund that Verizon has agreed to send me. I was a Verizon customer of over six years, and since they kept raising their price I decided to switch to a company with better service/coverage at a substantial savings. In my opinion Verizon treats its customers in a very unprofessional manner and I am glad to be rid of them!!Review fromKatherine O.

1 starVerizon service is substandard and has DECLINED in coverage over the past few years. No internet or phone coverage where I live so the phone is virtually useless. I also pay a premium price for the monthly service I am locked into it should be a crime to force individuals to pay for a service that is unfulfilled.Review fromRayshawn W

2 starsIm absolutely disappointed in this experience I have had opening up an account with Verizon. I ordered the phone via a Sales Representative on 8/18/2022. The phone was shipped via *** 2 day shipping, and I received it on 8/20/2022, which was great. I get the phone and it refuses to activate. I talk to 4 sales representatives, everyone seems to not know what theyre doing at all. I visit the store, only to find out the representative put my activation date for 8/22/2022. WHY? If you shipped via 2 day shipping, why would you start my service posted 2 DAYS LATER! Once we found that out, per the store representative *****, at ******** store, theres absolutely NO ONE that can start the activation early. What kind of s*** is that. You pay $1000 for a phone and its basically useless. Verizon says they bring the best service and experience. I BEG TO DIFFER, completely. To have no one with that access or power as a business is flabbergasting to me. I honestly want to send this back. You guys need to do better. I hated to have this experience. Very disappointed.Review fromMelanie L

1 starI give Verizon a ZERO!Long story short, I added insurance to all 4 of my phones in February of 2022 (a service provided to ALL customers). On 3/23 I called in 2 phone as stolen, and the lady who was helping me that day added insurance to only 2 of the 4 phones and I was only able to get 1 of the 2 stolen phones ran through Assurion, the other phone I was Givin the run around for 6 months - dont read too fast, i said SIX MONTHS!!! and I tried resolving this AGAIN all this week to no avail, and I got a call this morning on MY Saturday at 8am - EIGHT AM from Verizon financial services to collect money on an INCORRECT ****!!! I wouldnd pay an incorrext ****, who would????? AND to make matters worse as i am being threatened to colllection, I was told they could not fix my problem from INSIDE SALES, PORTING DEPARTMENT, FINANCIAL SERVIES DEPARTMENT. AND THE BILLING DEPARTMENT. I was told they couldn't even make a payment arrangement for me, how is this business getting away with charging me fees IN THE UPWARDS OF OVER $1700 for my 3 lines that are with tmobile now and a ohone that should be $229 through assurion, I should of never been charged these charges me in the first place!!!! And the representatives that actually read the notes cannot find any manager to help them help me. The WORST experience dealing with customer service EVER. I will never trust ********************** or any business related to them again! I had been a Verizon customer, paying ALOT of money and keeping my account in good standing for over 10 years, all to be forced to leave to TMobile, where customer support actually listens to the problem and fixed the problem. I currently get harassing phone calls over a phone that was stolen from me, which Verizon refuses to help me put through insurance. I expect my **** to be corrected, my phone to be ran through insurance like it should of months ago when I was a customer, and then we can sort out the actual ****, but AGAIN no one at Verizon has helped me!Review fromTaveres J.

1 starI left one cell phone company to come over to Verizon. I purchased a phone and a watch with my plan.... my first initial watch wasn't working so they sent me me another one without a return label. I was very sick and was in the hospital with covid for 32 days. So when I got my recent phone **** it was like $732.00 and $500.00 was for the watch ! I'm trying to just get a return label by email or mail. I have received nothing and it's been two weeks! Now they want they money threatening to cut my phone off. It's so unfair.Review fromFandila G

1 starThey put like $380 over charge to our acct even when we have a monthly unlimited **** that has to be a neutral amount every month. Cause they sent a message to my daughters line who is a minor by the way and she supposedly click it agreeing to their terms of extra services even when these services are included in the ****. They are tricky and abusers! Only the main line can do changes to the service. Now they are refusing to withdraw the charges cause they already have your credit card on their files.Review fromClaudia A

1 starI bought a business January 01, 2020 in the ******** mall *********** communications was the phone company that was my communications provider. But, because of the prices I need to find a wireless provider so I could be more mobile. I chose Verizon because at the time I thought they would be a good phone company. I was incorrect from the beginning things told me I made a huge mistake. First it was my password, then while my devices sat in the mall on the months of lock down. I was getting over charged for air time that was not being used. This happend throughout the whole 2 years of the contract. I have literally spent hours, days and weeks trying to let them know that we were not the cause of these overages. So the sales rep would offer me a new plan. Which had me thinking that I made a better choice and all would be corrected. When I arranged my service was told since it was a business line I have to have more then one device for it to be a business line. So, I took their advice bought a tablet, phone, and activated a jet pack. My budget was $170-$200 but, when my bills would arrive most time they exceeded $500, $800, even one $1000. We am a microbusiness. We didnot use our devices as much as we were charged.Due to Verizons practices. At the end of our contract which was July my phone **** surged from $177 to $1177.87 then a few weeks later it was $1617. This was less then a month of charges. I closed my contract with them because they did not fix what was causing the overall charges. This was my first contract with a big business. And from that experience I would rather send messages through pigeon. This should me that big business is bad business for small businesses. To Verizon wireless your practices are not for the good of your clients it looks like you care about the share holders and getting the most money out of people for services not used. Verizon wireless do better!Review fromJames H

1 starEarly May 2022 I received a Mailing from Verizon offering, because I am 55+, $10.- /mo. off Unlimited plans with 5G Start, pay just $60. per month for a single line plus fees and taxes when enrolled in Auto Pay. It read this does not apply everywhere, To see if I was eligible I called the ************ number given in the mailing on May 3, 2022 and spoke with Miketta. I was assured I was eligible for this offer and was signed up. I repeatedly asked if the offer was for $60.- per mo. and repeatedly was assured it was, Well it wasn't! I phoned Verizon in June twice and was told the pricing hasn't been yet updated in their system as I was being charged $70' per mo. and would be change to $60' per mo. on my next ****. When it wasn't changed I called again and was told no such offer exists for $60; per mo. despite me holding the original Verizon offer mailing and having received confirmation from their rep. who signed me up that I was. I am a senior on a fixed income and would have never signed up for this at the price I am now being charged. Classic bait and switch.Review fromJessica B

1 starI have been a Verizon customer for a while, and have always had poor service. My phone loses connection, disconnects calls, etc. When I switched to Verizon I did it because the previous company had bad coverage in my area, and Verizon said that my area had better coverage. I continued to have service issues, and had to reset my phones, get new phones, etc. I was just told by one of the Verizon reps that my area doesn't have good coverage, and that's why I keep having issues. And that it probably doesn't matter what I do to my phone, or if I get a new one, because the coverage is the issue. Giving false information to get the sale should not be allowed, and all this time I was never told that was the issue. I purchased a brand new phone because of this. Horrible business practice.Review fromDahlia C

1 starI sat on the phone for 8 hours with Verizon. I was without a phone and using another line. They told me a phone was in stock and I could go pick it up, then it wasnt in stock and because their system flagged the attempted orders I had to wait ********************************************** The woman I spoke with said she would call me for monetary compensation on 7/22. I never got a call back. I sent in a dispute form to Verizon, still havent heard back. I sent a dispute because every time they tried to order the phone again, I had to pay an activation fee. It took money and time out of my work day. Very unprofessional.
