This company is irresponsible and can care less about its loyal customers. I fell on hard times after a long bout with depression and anxiety and had difficulty paying my **** after being a loyal paying customer for 11 years. I set up a promise to pay and a payment arrangement, 2 partial payments to be paid 2 consecutive weeks within a month after payment was due. Verizon sent me harassing messages although I'd already made arrangements on their App. I kept doing live chats with their representatives explaining the matter but they kept telling their was no promise to pay in their system, only the payment arrangement for the **** This went on for 2 days. Finally I obtained proof from their system that I did have a promise to pay and therefore should not be getting harassing calls and messages about ceasing my services. Once I provided this, they FINALLY investigated and saw I was correct. The error was theirs, not that they admitted it. I'm so disgusted with them. All the unnecessary stress they caused me and I already have issues with that. Not even an apology, nothing. This is how they treat customers that have been with them for 11 years. My mom was with them for 20 years and she recently left for Tmobile because Verizon charges too much and they don't do anything for long-term customers. I think it's time for me to leave too. If you're reading this, maybe you need to consider it too because it doesn't get any better.

Ive been in contact with Verizon about the same issue 3 times. I have three case #s and each time Im told the problem is taken care of. On my fourth attempt I was told nothing was done and I was then hung up on.

These people stole money, they took ******* without my permission. I've been asking for a refund and they say it's being processed. Here it is almost a month and they won't return the money... don't not use this service they will steal from your bank account without your permission and will NOT return it or give you the run around

I've been with Verizon for 6 years and recently switched from a postpaid plan to a prepaid plan, because I've simplified my usage and saved $100/month by switching. I received an email telling me I was getting billed $117 for the postpaid plan which I canceled two weeks prior. I saw that Verizon had withdrawn the postpaid amount (about $140) from my bank on 7/29, so I don't know why I was being billed $117 now. I tried contacting their customer service and ran the gauntlet of digital assistants, live chats, phone calls, misdirections, waiting, ridiculous questions, runaround, and general smoke and mirrors. The prepaid folks couldn't access the postpaid account and the postpaid account couldn't access the prepaid account and blah.blah.blah... Since both Verizon accounts are connected to my bank account I can't stop this (postpaid) "part" of Verizon from withdrawing funds even though I've canceled that plan and still allow the (prepaid) "part" of Verizon to continue service. Why are they pretending to be different "entities" that don't have access to my information when they're the same company? It's suspicious at best, unscrupulous business practices at worst. In general, the overall customer service experience is absolutely horrible, regardless of the technology. I'll look into other carriers. I'm afraid Verizon has grown into something of a soulless, digital leviathan. No thanks.

so I purchase a phone for $500 at one of Verizon locations and i have been charged ****** because for the specific location i got and also the phone only provides a 4G service on 2022 and i get to pay monthly for 5G service. I have been told the phone provides 5G and only 1% of a time i get 5g and never have more than 3 bars at any locations. where i live i have to go outside of the house to get any net work. so i have been making many calls . leave alone the so many dysfunctionality of the phone, and scam text messages, with necked girls pic text messages i don't even have to open it pops out on the screen, scam offers messages, scam phone calls.... so just las august 9,2022 made a phone call having a problem with my phone, i am walking and the phone has only a single bar. made a phone call the representative said she will send me LET receiver for my home and exchange phone. it seems there is a problem on the phone she mentioned , i agreed a two day sipping went to the wrong address which took one week for me to pic the Let receiver supposedly free of charge. original price $250. didn't get the phone yet. but today i am getting text messages form Verizon if i don't return the returning equipment i will be charged $500. form my understanding it refers to the phone and the phone haven't even delivered to me . made a phone call waited 12 min representative responded told her the problem and the mistakes. she ask if she disconnect the phone to call me back gave her my number few mint she hung up the phone. no call back all lie and scam . even the equipment that is been delivered is a used and has no instruction how to use. This is first time in my life equipment with out manual.

We have a old style flip phones. We don't have internet connected to them, so we only talk and text on them. Our **** went up 12$ this month for "Plan Rate Adjustment Multi". When I looked at the explanation for it, it says "Shared monthly data plan". So I looked up on my phone at the "data" usage, its 0. I called and tried to get an explanation. I find out that folks WITH internet don't get this charge????! And this is an across the board (if you don't have internet) fee. So then I complained through their web site. Reiterating to both that I Don't use data on my phone, how are you charging me for it? Still no resolution. I informed them that I wanted it in writing that I would pay the **** through check Minus the 12$ written on it. You can't charge me for what I don't use.

Verizon is absolutely awful. Every time I deal with them the deal is not what is advertised. This does not include unexpected taxes or fees. Just the basic deal is fraudulent. Last month they tried to double **** me for a new phone. I was an hour getting that straightened out. This time I was offered unlimited for approximately 145 a month then when i go to look at my next **** its approximately 290 dollars and the next estimated **** is approximately 225 dollars a month. A full 80 dollars a month more than was on the deal and chat representation of the company. I signed a document agreeing to that rate and when i went I input to get a transcript of the chat conversation it never sent me one. I am done with this company and moving to whatever the next closest in coverage alternative is.

I was a Verizon prepair customer for 35 years. When I decided to switch to a postpaid plan they were very rude and unwilling to help. So I switched carriers. I had a $35 credit on my account and they will not refund it. I am 68 years old and this is the way they treat loyal customers? They should be ashamed of themselves to treat seniors like this.

Verizon is very misleading and could care less about their customers. I received a reminder to pay my **** which i did only to have them disconnect me the next day and had no phone service and trying to get in contact with them is a nightmare, everything online kept saying to call their customer service, umm kind of difficult if you deactivated my phone. They have no option of getting a hold of them other than calling, very poor customer service and all this during an already difficult time of being laid off from work and trying to seek new employment thanks for the no help Verizon. I would stay clear of them so much for helping a customer of 11 years when he is down on his luck, there has to be better cell phone providers that are easier to get a hold of when you need their help Verizon is not one of them and has no care or concern about customers.
