I have been a long time, very good, paying customer of **********************. They have decided they do not want to adequately service existing customers. They have gone from being one of the best in customer service to one of the worst, rivalling **** for the bottom spot. I have had several lines with smart phones and one basic phone for my elderly mother. They have completely stopped carrying any type of quality basic phone and when they said the old phone would not work at the end of the year, I CALLED THEM TO FIND OUT MY OPTIONS. They verified that I had until the end of the year to research and pick the best of the worst phones they offer.THEN, OUT OF THE BLUE, THEY SEND ME THEIR WORST RATED PHONE AND THEIR IN STORE REPRESENTATIVE TOLD ME OVER AND OVER WHEN I COMPLAINED, "BUT IT'S FREE". Of course it is, it is the worst rated phone they have. They also told me if I didn't do anything, the phone would be activated after 30 days of receiving. This is a load of c*** since they said I had until the end of the year!!!!!!I would not recommend Verizon to anyone anymore.

I have called customer service at least ten times over a span of a year trying to get my issue resolved. A billing statement has been sent to an address that I do not live for a period of at least two years. I tried paying off the amount on that statement and received a letter from Verizon investigations unit stating the account had a zero balance. I proceeded to contact customer service to request the mail from being sent but they keep giving me solutions that never work out, putting me on hold, refusing/disregarding my requests to speak to a manager etc. Part of the reason why this issue was difficult to resolve was that I cannot authenticate for that account. However, it should not matter when I have consistently told representatives that the account has a zero balance, is most likely terminated and a billing statement has been sent monthly over the last two years and still going. It is a major inconvenience to stay on the phone for longer than 30 minutes to resolve or delegate an issue like this. Ive tried physically driving to the stores and speaking to representatives (even managers) who could not resolve this issue when calling customer service themselves. I realize not being able to authenticate has made it this issue difficult to resolve, but no customer service in the world should inconvenience a customer like this for years and years without some closure. I wonder if this situation could become a lawsuit? Why am I being constantly sent unwanted mail for an account balance of $0??

Personnel needs to be trained, My wife paid ****** dollars and was informed she would receive a 300 dollar rebate in 30 days... after 60 days i went to the Verizon store in waldorf md and asked about the rebate, i was told it may take two to three cycles before it kicks in... 4 months later i requested to speak to a supervisor, who informed me i get credits each month based on the agreement. 6 months later, Jan 2022 i go into the verizon store and asked how can i lower my ****... i was told to go to another carrier. i walked out and went to ***** After signing up with them, i again went to the verizon store and requested every thing be cancelled I switched carriers... in Fed 2022 i received a **** for 500+ dollars i called Verizon and after a review was informed everything was not cancelled, after a further review, he said he had to make some error adjustments and I would receive a new ****, in march i received a 300 dollar ****, which was still not correct, I called verizon and again a review was done, and I was told adjustments needed to be done and i would receive a new ****, in August I received a **** for 180 dollars, in august 2022 i also received a call from a debt collector who after a short discussion said this **** is not late and he could not accept my payment, he was sending the **** back to verizon. two days later, I received a call from a group staying sorry for you lost but call this number for money left to you from the estate of the late *****************************, it was a debt collector, who again would not accept payment, three days after that the *** group called , and again would not accept payment, three days after that i called verizon and found out the 180 dollars was the balance of the phone that my wife bought, once i cancelled my service i also lose any credits I paid the **** and was told everything was cleared, I then got another call from a debt collector, who said sorry this was paid. now its reported as 30 days late, against my credit.help

I purchased an IPhone13 Pro *** on 8.1.2022 for $1099.99. I was going to pay for it in full but the sales persons said to send my phone in too Verizon as a trade in and get $350.00 and that would pay off your phone. I paid $750.00 in cash and was expecting the phone to be paid in full from the trade in. I received an email from Verizon on 8.10.22 stating that I would be receiving a credit on my monthly statement of $9.72/mo for 36 months totaling $349.92. I was never told that this is how they paid for a trade in. I even stated at one time that Ill just pay the remaining balance and Verizon can send me the check, the sales persons not just one but the other two sitting by the sales person helping me said no you dont want to do that. I went into the Verizon Store on 8.12.22 to speak with the manager and all he said you can pay for the phone now but you wont get your trade in back. If I would have known this, I would have kept my old phone. There is so many hidden costs to these cell phone chains that they dont tell you about before purchasing a phone: 1. You now have to purchase a charger 2. You have to pay $35.00 to have the phone set up, which is transferred from your old phone to your new one, (even if you have been a customer for a long period of time), and then they pressure sell you items to protect your phone at an outrages price, (you can go on Amazon and purchase the same items for much less).

I only have one question, why there is no regulation for the wireless companys ? Or do they have a green light to charge customers as they see fit? This company should be investigated for the way they **** customers and I believe the attorney General should investigate them malpractice. Stay a way and dont fall victim for the trap. Like I did.

Verizon is the worst provider I have ever used, and most of my relatives say the same thing most of them have gone with another provider. They charge more than most other providers and service can be awful . Thinking about changing to my grandsons provider. He is very pleased and has great service and much, much, much, cheaper payments a month. You can never reach a supervisor , and if you do they dont help you either.Shame on Verizon nothing like what they advertise.

Worst phone company ever. If it wasn't the taking towers down causing no internet connection without any warning, then it was the sending us to collections after they attempted to charge us after cancelling their services to switch to ********* We had already paid what we thought was our final **** to them but they had other plans. I will suggest to everyone I know to switch to ******** and I will never go back.
