      Wish I would have read some of these reviews before I decided to give them my business. HORRIBLE Credit Union. Poor customer service, and I had extremely similar situations as those who have written before me. My car was repossessed, and then I had personal items stolen and no one wanted to even deal with the situation. They have messed up my bank accounts, my credit cards, every account that I switched over to them has been a nightmare. I don't understand how a company these days stays in business with this type of customer treatment and mistakes. ****** learned. The bad thing is, this review will do absolutely nothing, as anyone who is in any position to do anything, just looks at the bottom dollar, and as long as they're running a profit, who cares how they do business or treat it's customers. Somebody worded it perfectly when they said "Zero stars is too much for this company".

      Steer Clear of this Credit Union!! I had my car refinanced from GM to Affinity. Worse thing I could have done. This credit union has zero concern for the human element. Its is truly all about the all mighty dollar with them. I was part of a layoff on my job in January 2023. When I reached out to them they offered me zero assistance. Never offered to Not charge me any late fees or remove not even one. They sent me a repo letter but thankfully I started working again and have been doing my due diligence to get caught up. Since I have been working I have paid most of any past due payments along with current one. Paying them over $4,000 in these past few months. Now I'm down to owing them $900 to get caught up and still all they want is there money. Still not offering to deferr any payments, remove any late fees, basicall NOT offering any assistance like GM or another finance company would offer. I have asked for several months a copy of my payment history from the time the contract was signed and have yet to receive them. I called them again today and again asked for those copies, after much c*** from the guy who still wanted to make sure I had made those payment arrangements for that $900 he basically said I lied about having asked for that statement as often as I have because he couldn't see it. He constantly went off topic about my statement. I told him I wanted it sent via the regular mail and he kept saying it had been sent previously via email (again which I never received)! Their customer service suckes! Their compassion sucks! Stay away from them, save yourself some sanity and go with a company or credit union other than Affinity for any loans or you will regret it. Had I read their BBB reviews when I was considering doing business with them I wouldn't have. Heed my warnings! They ****.

      The worst bank ever. My car loan was on repo review and I asked them several times ** emai, and the guy told me you have to pay 1.4k to clear the repo. Then I ask them how many days I have so I can avoid the repo. He never responded. At the end they took my car.Funny the same guy that denied my payment deferment is the same guy that started the repo against my car. If you get an offer from this people Don't you ever accept it.

      Zero stars. I have had the worst customer service from **********************. I have reached out to the member services several times and they never call back. I've spent MONTHS calling and leaving voicemails with all my contact info, asking for help. They can't process my payments and instead of communicating that info, they ignore my calls and they decide adding fees to the amount of payment required is necessary. What a trap. This is an example of super sketchy bank policies used to ensure the bank takes money they are not entitled to. I can't be the only person who they do this to. Horrible customer service and additional fees.

      Absolutely terrible. Wish they had a no star option. I have been receiving letters stating that Affinity has opened a lawsuit against me because I haven't been making any payments. I have email confirmation of all my payments made along with bank statements. The interest rates are at *****%. Ridiculous!! I am getting the run-around with who I need to talk to. I have been receiving letter from lawyers stating they have a lawsuit open against me for not making payments. This is a nightmare. I wouldn't recommend to my worst enemy.

      If I could rate them 0 I would. First of all they are almost impossible to reach. I have waited ***** minutes each time I have called them. Their customer service reps have all been rude, with an attitude. My main complaint is that I had hail damage to my vehicle and since my car was not in the shop to be repaired immediately I was told that they do NOT have to sign over the insurance check to me, that they can apply the check to my car loan. WHAT?? I have never missed a payment nor been late making one. She said that if I dont get the car repaired and they have to repossess it, the value would go down. I owe ****** and the book value is ******. However, I plan to get the car repaired! I had to hurriedly shop around so I can put the check in the garage name and leave Affinity completely out of it. As soon as I can get out from under them I am doing so! They are horrible. They are the very worst place to get an auto loan. Stay away from them!

      THIS PLACE IS THE WORST PLACE TO GET A AUTO LOAN! THE PERSON WHO DEALT WITH MY ACCOUNT DAVID ******. HES RACIST AND A POS. MY MOTHER DIED AND HE WAS DISGUSTINGLY RUDE AND EVERY SINGLE CALL OR EMAIL WAS TRULY DISRESPECTFUL. THEY REPOSESSED MY CAR AND FOR THE LAST 4 MONTHS HAVE BEEN REPORTING IT LATE PAYMENTS WHICH PREVENTED ME FROM GETTING A HOME LOAN. BY OTHER REVIEWS I SEE IM NOT THE ONLY ONE THEY SHOULD ALL BE SHUT DOWN I ADVISE EVERYONE TO REPORT THEM TO CONSUMER REPORT FOR THE GOVT.

      This is the worst auto loan company I have ever had. They financed my vehicle and I hit hard times. I knew I couldnt keep the payments up so I contacted them and explained the situation and asked if they could restructure my loan so I could keep making payments. They refused to help me. I voluntarily surrendered the vehicle in March of 2022 and had to keep calling them to pick up the vehicle. They finally picked it up in July of 2022. I received a letter giving me the date of auction and I was allowed to be but I didnt go. Never got a deficiency letter and when I call them, if they answer, they refuse to give me the deficiency letter and tell me Im lying about the letter sent to me. Its now December of 2022 and still no deficiency letter. I cant begin to pay back what I owe and get my credit back on track until they send me the letter. Mean while the account still shows as opened and keeps dragging my score down. I disputed with transunion and they wont help me either. Mean while my score is now down to almost 400 making it extremely hard to find places to rent. Stay far away from this company!!!!!!!!

      Worst System Ever Please avoid at all cost. Password verification does not work all the time, the automated system call you to give new password no option for email or text. After 2 failed attempts they block your account. The automated system does not pick up anything you say no matter how clear you say it. Customer support always 2hrs wait no matter what time of day they're open. WORST SERVICER EVER like the system is still in the 90's with a modern frontend.

      Worst company to deal with. Not customer friendly at all. I refinanced my car loan and had it down to ****** when I refinanced and was not told until after my refinance that they added stuff I didn't ask for or need and brought the amount up to what I paid for it originally, ******. Tried to defer a payment and the guy ********************* was a jerk. They don't care about helping you. He was the most arrogant a****** I had ever spoke with. They don't try to help you and everything has to be done online. Try calling them and you will wait at least 40 minutes and still won't get help. Very unprofessional. I wish I never refinanced. Be very careful of this company.
