    On 5/20/22 I financed a 2021 **** Q5 Quattro for $51,225.00 along with a bumper to bumper200,000 mile warranty ,total amount financed $56,110.79, make a monthly payment of $900.00 a mo.,I stayed consistent with oil changes and services through out the first 2years ,including a recall and a repair of a loud thumping sound when accelerating , all covered under warranty on 6/23/23. My last oil change and inspection was on 1/9/24 with satisfactory reports, in June 2024 the indicator light for oil change due soon light came on , also between April and may my personal life took some tragic turns with 3 immediate family members passing away and the beginning of a very busy summer season starting, I was having a hard time making time for the hour and half ride to the dealer for a oil change, I could have easily and much cheaper got a oil change at the ******* within walking distance from my house,but I wanted to stay consistent with the **** dealer. Aug 3 while driving driving an indicator light ( a silhouette of a car with a !) appeared on the dash,I immediately pulled over checked the oil and coolant levels, both where good,I started the back up and the indicator light was no longer there. And the car continued to ride smoothly. I then called the dealer and made and appointment for a oil change and to also check out the reason for the indicated light for aug 6 , , after the diagnostic text I was told I need a engine and its not going to be covered by my purchased warranty or manufacturer warranty, because I was late on the last oil change, the engine will cost about $13,000 , this is a high end vehicle that will tell me when a tire needs little air, cant understand why there was no warning I would need a engine. Meanwhile I am without a vehicle, I still owe about $30,000 at $900 a month!

While we sincerely understand and empathize with the family issues that may have contributed to this, we must inform you that this is the reason the manufacturer will not cover the repairs under warranty.

    Unfortunately,as the dealership, we are unable to override the manufacturers decision in this matter.
