    BB replaced an expensive, remote activated blind after the motor became deflective. The blind was mounted 16' high on a large set of windows. There was no cost for the replacement but I paid ~$180 to ship the blind to NJ. In about six months, the blind separated from the mounting and fell to a sill. Damage to the house and harm were thankfully avoided.
    Neither the local Budget Blind owner in Flemington, NJ, nor the corporate office would support any type of resolution. I was particularly frustrated with the lack of help from the corporate representative. I was told to find a licensed handyman to remount the blind.
    I had a Hunter Douglas shade installer come to my home who verified the blind was defective. Hunter Douglas, by the way, has a lifetime guarantee on their products. Whereas, Budget Blinds give two years of service at no charge on all products. Labor for restringing and miscellaneous is 90 days. For an unknown reason, they would not address a blind that was brand new and had fallen due to a product defect in about 6 months.
    So, I have to completely replace a blind installed 6 months ago at a cost of ~$2,000. Be very weary about Budget Blinds of Flemington, NJ.
