    I was moving out the state look for a moving company American mover called guess they are broker not the moving company I sit on the phone with this man name Roger I explain everything to him let him know that I only had this $1800 to move he said ok 49 item would be cool I explained to him I did not know how much it much cubic feet the stuff would be he said ok it’s fine the price would only be $1800 pay $800 to us then $500 when they pick up and $500 for drop off after all of your stuff is in the house cool Sunday 3/17 I get on the road to Texas the mover call me like that’s price is not accurate you need to call them I call Roger explain to him then he makes it like he has nothing to do with it now it’s out of his hands so I talk to driver David like well hey get my kids bedroom sets and the furniture he say ok I guess he sent me a new contract I explain to him like I couldn’t hear u during the call it got disconnected I’ll call you when I get off the highway I get off the highway they now tryna charge me 779 plus 279 I explain to him like I can’t pay that now he is mad because they leave with my items a week later I hear from another driver saying he will be there Sunday morning then he calls back like no I’ll come tonight I said ok because it was still early he gets my my house unload one mattress I tell him that’s not mines so now he asking for 779 that I already told them I wasn’t paying he talking crazy in front of my kids I tell him I was going to call the police now he really mad I call David let him hear how the driver talking he tell the driver leave he will have the manager calls me two days go by didn’t hear from no one I’m calling email everybody now they lying saying I refuse delivery say the put my stuff in storage now trying to charge me for storage talk to the manager explain to her she arguing with me telling me she can hold my items for 21days but she will call me back when she figure things out now it’s Thursday I’m calling her no answer or ite

    I contacted Exclusive Moving company on June 15, 2022. I was guaranteed that my belongings would arrive to **********, ** by 9.6.22. The salesman (***********************) said that the truck would arrive on September 1st to our home in ********* to load and carry out belongings to **. On ****, I had not heard from the company, so I called to confirm the schedule and was told that it would be 20+ days until my items would arrive in ************. This was NOT what we discussed, and left us without any of our belongings for nearly two weeks longer than we were guaranteed at the time of booking.We were not told that this job would be dealt to a different company and that the contract we had with Exclusive Moving would be void at this time. I paid $700 deposit on 6.15.22 and another $849 deposit on ****.22. In addition, we paid $2,491 on 8.29.22 (pickup) and another $2,491 on 9.11.22 (drop off) to Cheetah Moving Company. This totaled $6,531. Our original quote and timeline was $2451 in 5 days. Then, it was updated on **** to $4901 in 1 week after I called to inquire about the pickup date and clarified the amount of space we would use. This number far exceeded what we were told **************** past off to another service provider, they refused to acknowledge that we had paid anything at all. I believe we are entitled to the full $1549 we paid to Exclusive Moving Company as they did not provide any of the services that we were guaranteed and our contract with them (and the payment schedule) started fresh when they dealt to another company to actually handle the move.
