      I saw an interesting job advertisement in my email from my local county. I called the company, and spoke to ******************************** Employment Specialist, about that particular opening (Office Manager) as well as about other positions I would be interested in since I was currently unemployed, I obtained an interview at the local office in ****** ** on Feb 3, 2022, at 2pm. I spent valuable time filling out the lengthy application, taking an online test and ultimately interviewing with ***********************. Since that time, I have NEVER received a phone call from the company about a job opportunity. I applied for and made clear on the interview that I was looking for a *************** opening as a certified HR Professional. I was told on the interview they do become available at times. I called the office several times and inquired about this. I spoke to whoever answered the phone as well as *** about this over time. They all claimed they left me messages on my phone about HR job openings but I never responded. I have only one phone number which I have had over 3 decades. There is and have not been any other phone numbers. It is not possible to leave me a message and I not receive it. It is also not possible to receive a call and I not hear my phone ring since it is ALWAYS on me even if it is on vibrate. Did they receive monies or other perks for me as a "New Hire" and then forget about me? Is it my age or race? I am a retired military officer, I have both a BA and a MA degree, I have years of varied office + other experience, I am a certified HR Professional etc. I see no reason why I never actually received a phone call of any sort. I preferred an HR position due to my certification but another would do such as the Office Manager which was my original inquiry. *********************** reached out to me on April 24th via an email inquiring about my status. I sent him my disappointment with the Company but I never received a response. Communication is poor.
