    Beware of Shady Practices and Overcharging I had a very disappointing experience with New Method Restoration and feel compelled to warn others. When they came to assess the damage to my home, their primary focus seemed to be on scrutinizing my homeowner's insurance policy rather than the actual damage. It became clear that their quote was based on what they thought my insurance would cover, not on the actual scope of work needed. Not only was their approach opportunistic, but they also overcharged outrageously for the work. Their scare tactics made it seem like I had no other choice but to hire them, but in hindsight, I wish I had taken my time to get a second opinion. Their lack of transparency and professionalism was a major red flag that I regret overlooking. To make matters worse, after the job was completed, they refused to provide the promised pictures and detailed report. This left me with no documentation to validate the work they claimed to have done or to follow up with my insurance. Do not hire this company. Their tactics are dishonest, and their service is far from trustworthy. Save yourself the stress and look for a restoration company with integrity and respect for their customers.
