      My mother, ******* ***** ******, was insured under NJM Policy *********. On September 15, 2024, her car was in an accident (Claim #****-******) with her son driving. NJM confirmed the car was a total loss and provided a formal repair estimate of $11,443.52, with a net owed amount of $10,693.52 after the deductible was paid. Despite this, NJM has not paid the claim or explained the delay.

      Since September, we’ve called over 20 times, trying to reach adjuster Hasael P. and his manager. The last response we got was in February, when we were told “lawyers were reviewing it” and “a resolution would come soon.” Nothing happened. My mother even sent the vehicle title to them recently — still, no payment.

      NJM has also charged my mother $250 for insurance on a vehicle they deemed totaled. On top of the financial burden, the emotional and physical toll has been severe. My mother is a non-English-speaking immigrant who has been treated with indifference and disrespect throughout this process. NJM offered no language assistance and repeatedly dismissed her concerns, worsening her suffering.

      The claim has now gone over 8 months unresolved. NJM has refused to communicate, failed to provide any formal denial or update, and shown complete disregard for customer rights. Their handling of this case is unprofessional, possibly unethical, and demonstrates either negligence or discriminatory practices.

      We are requesting NJM immediately pay the claim, reverse the $250 charge, and issue a written explanation. At a minimum, they must be held accountable for misleading, delaying, and neglecting a paying customer in need.

      I want to express my dissatisfaction with the handling of my stolen vehicle claim submitted on May 1st 2025, I have provided all necessary documentation, including statement and police report number.
      Despite multiple attempts to contact the claims service representatives, Cassandra C.  and Supervisor Allison H., I have not received any callbacks or meaningful communication from NJM. This lack of responsiveness is not only frustrating but unacceptable.
      I have sent multiple e-mails and left voicemail messages requesting a call back and all I get is a reply stating “report is still under review, investigation was finalize 5/22/2025, will let you know when there’s further insight”. I’ve had my cars and and home insurance with NJM for many years, and now I’m being treated like I’m the enemy, all I’m looking for it’s for some clarity. I still have the stolen vehicle on my policy and though I’ve asked if I should remove it or not, it seems like no one can answer my questions.

      Company has been overcharging me for my car insurance since 2019. They claim a credit report that was given to them by a third party showed I had a history of collections which has never been true. From that information they deemed me as someone riskier to insure so raised my rates around $800 a year from 2019-2024.

      I was in an accident where I was rear-ended,I had bought a brand new car right before the accident,I was encouraged to take a small settlement by my adjuster at New Jersey manufacturer,my car damage was under estimated,I was not able to get it fixed,I've been doing physical therapy since this accident. I was told I wasn't hurt that bad, by my adjuster,I contacted this adjuster last week about a depreciation in value report for my car damage I was jerked around all week by ******** ****** ,at the end of the week I'm told she is going to put me in touch with the person that specializes in DIV reports, I feel like I should have spoken to this person to start with, this game that insurace companies play with peoples lives and money has been really interesting,I'm diabetic now from my body being in so much pain I'm interested in suing this company for the way I was treated. I feel like I'm entitled to a depreciation in value report because they insured the girl that hit me ,my claim # is 2020-250324

      I am filing a complaint against NJM Insurance Group regarding my auto accident claim #***********.The accident occurred on February 24, 2025, at 8:00 AM at ************************************ (US 21) in ******, **. The other party, insured by ***, has already filed a claim. I submitted the police report from the ************************ to expedite the process. Based on the police report I'm going straight the insured vehicle is turning left and did not give me the right of way. So I think the liability of this accident is pretty clear at this point. My vehicle is at ********** Towing (****************************************), awaiting inspection.Adjuster **** ****** informed me that liability cannot be determined because the policyholder, **** ******, is unresponsive. This has stalled my claim for over a week, leaving me without transportation or a rental car, severely impacting my ability to work.NJM Insurance must not delay the claim due to an unresponsive policyholder. I request:1. Make a decision on the liability of this claim based on the police report and evidence.2. A rental vehicle during the claims process.3. Immediate damage assessment of my vehicle.I seek BBBs assistance in ensuring NJM Insurance resolves this issue promptly. Thank you.

      You purchase insurance for your protection. So, if anything happens to you or your property you are protected. Why in the h*** when you go through the insurance they charges a co payment and your insurance goes up. Also, if you file too many claims, no other insurance company will cover you if you change insurance.. Why is this?

      I purchased both an auto and renters insurance policies in November/December of 2023. The auto policy was set to renew on January 1, 2025. I received a no notices from *** stating that an initial payment needed to paid prior to 1/1/2025 or policy would be cancelled due non payment. I received correspondance on 1/4/2025 stating that my auto policy had been cancelled. I immediately called *** customer service where I was asked if I received any prior correspondance in the December timeframe concerning the auto policy renewals. I told them I did not and they verified my mailing address which the customer service agent admitted that *** did not have my correct mailing address. He discussed the matter with the company's underwriting area where I was denied the ability to re-instate my auto policy as I was on paperless billing and did not have auto coverage which in *********** is mandatory by law, thus putting me at high risk for both legal ramifications and possible financial liability if I were to have a motor vehicle accident.

      I am rejecting this response because:

      I reached out to the Better Business Bureau to help advocate my rights as a consumer where there was wrong doing by the company NJM. I willing to forgo any privacy concerns that *** brought up and will to sign any affidavits or forms where my privacy is concerned. Shortly after filing my BBB claim, I read and understand that an insurance policy is subject to cancelation for non payment but the company offers a short ***** period anywhere from 5 to 20 days if payment is not received. My payment was due on 1/1/2025 and I attempted to pay on 1/4/2025 which is a 3 or 4 day after the due date. I ask *** to provide me with the any company correspondence that we supposed to be sent to me stating my auto policy was subject to termination if payment was not received by 1/1/20025.

      I am behind on my auto insurance due to an injury I have that happened in January of last year. I recently paid my passed due amount of 450 and then today I get notified that my insurance was canceled for non payment. I spoke to *** today and explained the situation and basically I was told not our problem I said well I just paid the past due and the lady on the phone said that the past due was not 450 it was over 800 but thats including decembers payment I dont understand how a company can cancel insurance when I made the past due payment and yet Im told I owe over 800 dollars

      I was involved in a *** on 9/24/24. I was stopped on Rt 3 in bumper to.bumper traffic. I was hit from behind. The vehicle that hit me was original hit by a 3rd vehicle to start this accident .I submitted a claim thru my insurance, safeco and my vehicle was repaired o. 10/11/24. I had to layout my ****** deductible. I was told I would be able toget this back since I was not at fault thru the insurer of the vehicle at fault . My insurer has told me repeatedly that Njm is not replying to their request. The claim# I was given is ************. Like many others, that ****** is a big deal for me. I had to put it on a credit card to get my car out of the repair shop so now I have been paying interest on that ***** too . Please help resolve this .
