  I'm so disappointed in Avocado. As a vegan, I wanted to support them and get a product that aligned with my values, so it was an easy decision to purchase this mattress. However, I soon learned they sold me a product that didn't even exist. After my purchase, when I inquired about my order status, their rep told me they were actively sourcing materials -- yes, they didn't even have the materials to make my mattress when they sold it to me (and still didn't over a week+ later!)! Worse still, the rep said they were working with their marketing department to make it clear there was a major delay in production, but last I checked they haven't done so, and I still get targeted with their ads...The one upside is I asked for a refund and received one. But, at the end of the day, I am so disappointed in a company with so much potential. I really wanted to support them, but the way they do business is wild. They've completely lost my trust.

  I traveled recently for two weeks and found that my aching low back pain of several months magically disappeared! So . . . it WAS my new mattress. Avocado. We tried for months to return it, as part of their 12 month warranty, and a myriad of reasons were presented. We tried to return for four weeks. Avocado would not honor their return policy. This company has a 2.07 score at the Better Business Bureau. Out of five. Is it a "good" mattress? For some folks. It's green and soft as ****, but it destroyed my back. Waking up every morning at 2:00 AM with aching low back pain that would hit a seven to eight on the pain scale. I could not get out of bed without doing happy baby for ten minutes and did a 20 minute workout every morning just to move about my day! Went to the chiropractor countless times. Did stretches throughout my day and at bedtime, it was gone. Only to recur at 2:00 AM. My advice? Head to Saatva. Their mattress cured my painful sleep issues overnight and they have customer service that delivers. No ********************** for me! Be SURE that this is right for you before purchasing! It's an expensive investment you'll not be able to return.

  Purchased the Avocado Green pillow. (Queen size). Their shipping box states the pillow was made in **********. Their website claims it was made in their factory in ***********, The label on the pillow: Made in ******. The pillow was shipped from their *********, ********** location. Requested a refund

  This is a 3-year review of the Avocado Green mattress. It's unusable. My wife and I are sinking, and the mattress is sagging. We've been back and forth with their customer support department for 3 weeks now and they still won't honor their warranty policy.Spare yourself. This is a dishonest company, making an incredibly expensive mattress of subpar quality.

  I do not recommend this company. My Avocado mattress has never been exposed to liquid or humidity, and I discovered it has mold spots. The only possibility is that the material itself is very susceptible to mold. Avocado refused to offer a replacement under warranty despite having followed all care instructions.

  Absolutely HORRENDOUS company. Do not waste your money here the customer service and actual product itself is terrible. The toxic chemical smell made us all sick and they claim to be clean. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE. Its not worth it. Truly wish I had read all these reviews before purchasing

  Terrible company with good advertising! I ordered standard size pillows and received square pillows. I cant return! They are allowing 1 item return per family. I sent pictures of pillows basically they are saying deal with it! I dont recommend this company.

  Terrible company. The salespeople misled me about a mattress description. I spent almost $20,000 on furniture, mattresses, and accessories with Avocado and they refuse to refund me for a mattress I was very dissatisfied with. The mattress was approx. $6,000 and It was not how they described. I now have severe back and joint pain and theyre telling me tough luck, cant return it. Stay far away from these kind of people.

  I ordered a mattress on Dec. 26, 2023 and paid an additional $249 (!) for "In-Home *********************** Mattress Removal." Since the mattress is over 100 lbs. and we have stairs, it seemed like we would need help.Two days later I realized that I also needed a specific kind of bed frame, per their website's instructions. I called Avocado and asked them if the mattress and the bed frame could be delivered at the same time since I was paying for set-up and they said no, that since the mattress had already shipped, it was too late to do anything.I went back online and ordered the bed frame anyway. After ordering I noticed that the total charge included a $10.50 "mattress recycling fee." I called and asked why that fee applied to a bed frame. They said it was mandated by ********** and there was no way to refund it. When I pushed back, they could only give me a $10.50 coupon for future orders. On Jan. 10 I checked the tracking link to see the status of the bedframe. It seemed to be in limbo so I called Avocado and they finally got it shipped. We received the frame on Jan. 13, before the mattress arrived. The instructions referred to "white arrows" that oriented the correct placement of pieces, but there were no white arrows. At one point I called Avocado to get some assembly guidance before I moved forward, and they said they would email me shortly so that I could send a photo of the problem. I waited an hour but the email never arrived (I also checked spam). So I went ahead with my best guesses for assembly. ******* at Avocado emailed me on Jan. 22 to make sure my problem was resolved, since, she said, "We haven't heard from you..." I was so worried that I would end up hating the mattress and have to go through the return process. Luckily, I'm happy with the frame and have slept very well on the mattress. So I think I'm finally out of the *****. Not sure I will ever have a use for that $10.50 coupon though.(Also had difficulties with delivery company.)

  Terrible company with good marketing. Bought a bedroom bundle and they sent me a defective bed frame. I have been getting the run around for well over two months now on a resolution. For a green and non-toxic company you would think the plastic would easily come off of the bed frame post shipment. It is literally bolted underneath the bed frame to the point that you would have to demolish the bed to get it off. Like I said, I have tried contacting the company countless times to try and get a refund or credit before writing a bad review but this company will not provide any resolution other than basically telling me to deal with it. They have horrendous after sales support and their ******** and bbb reviews show it. Do not trust reviews on their website as they pick which ones can be posted.
