      I concur with previous complaints stating that they lie and cheat. Having read the company's review in Consumer Reports, we ordered a mattress, even though the price had been increased by about $1000.00 following the ** article. That should have been a red flag. However, we ordered it because it sounded very healthy. Their ad stated that it would be 2-3 business days for delivery. We received an email stating that the order was on its way. We placed a couple of calls within the next two weeks and were referred to the trucking company, ***** Trucking. We received a call on Thursday, from ***** Trucking, but I couldn't get to the phone in time. (I'm 81). I called back immediately and several times that afternoon, but no one answered. The next day I called and was told that they only service this area on Friday, and my mattress was not on the truck that day. It wasn't on the truck the following Friday either. From then on we were just given the runaround until I got fed up and decided to cancel. They then threatened me with a 15% "restocking" fee. My mattress had never left the premises nor was it ever in the possession of the trucking company. There was no "restocking". They never- the-less retained about $400.00 from my refund. I want that money returned to my account.

      Either the company is fond of lying or they need to fire their marketing team. Go to their company website and tell me the first things you see. "1 year mattress trial", "certified organic mattresses with a 1 year trial", "1-YEAR TRIAL, FREE RETURNS", "ONE-YEAR TRIAL Try an Avocado Mattress risk-free!". Now, I didn't make any of those up. Quite literally four times on the main page of their website are those statements. I tried to initiate a return less than 180 days (there are 365 days in a year) into my trial. I was given a stock response by customer service that it was past the ONE HUNDRED day trial. When I pointed out that their own website says something completely different, I was pointed towards legal jargon, fine print and generic customer service lines that are nothing but hollow lip service. "We understand how you feel..." (we don't care and we're not going to do anything about it)Since I was basically told to go away and that they weren't going to honor what they blatantly advertise, I'm now escalating to leaving a review on here.If unresolved, my next action will be going to my ******* account with ****** followers (who the main demographic is ***** year old adults who buy home furnishings) to not only tell my story, but to find the people with a similar experience of this company. Something tells me that won't be too hard..."1 year mattress trial", "certified organic mattresses with a 1 year trial", "1-YEAR TRIAL, FREE RETURNS", "ONE-YEAR TRIAL Try an Avocado Mattress risk-free!".
