First off I really enjoy doing the surveys. I completed 3 surveys that awarded a total of $170.00 in virtual reward **** cards. I have not received the cards and I have sent numerous emails to the help desk and have not received a response. I participated in a focus group study from October 13-16 on food purchases. I completed the study and was told that I would receive incentive points to be redeemed for a gift card. I received my incentive points on October 24 and I redeemed them for a $215 virtual visa gift card. The email that I received from the senior product manager, Katy U*** as well as the FAQ on the website stated that I would receive my electronic gift card within 24 hours of redemption. It has been 9 days (6 business days) and I still have not received my electronic gift card to my email. I have checked every day including my spam and there is nothing there. I called the phone number on October 25th and left a voicemail and no one returned my call. I reached out to Katy on October 26th via email and she never emailed me back. I emailed the help support email on October 27th, October 28th, and today November 1st and no one has gotten back to me.Business Response

I completed a study with Sago 7/27/23 with the promise of a $450 compensation and the points were added to my account 8/5/23. I redeemed them for Amazon gift cards but never got the cards. I have emailed and called countless times and have gotten no response.Business Response

I participated in the ************************************ cars Research Study that took place at 12:00pm est on 10/16/23 and I was promised to be paid a $125 incentive for participating in this study. I selected to receive the incentive as a $125 physical **** virtual gift card to be delivered to me by mail. It has been over a week now and I have not received the virtual **** card in the mail even though on the Focus Group Wallet on their website my request to receive a virtual **** gift card as my incentive went from "processing" to paid. I have tried reaching out to their support email and phone number and it has been days and no one gets back to me. In my emails to support I supplied them with extensive information such as the request number to receive the credit card and the number for the research study that I participated in. I am really concerned that this is a scam, and find it strange that it has been days and no one from the support phone or email has responded to my messages about this situation.Business Response

I have really enjoyed participating in Sago but the customer service is not good, I have sent about 5 emails asking about my rewards and never got a response

I completed a 3 hour focus group with Schlesinger/SAGO for a $275 incentive that was to be deliver via E-Wallet. I’ve contact their help desk and left messages but haven’t gotten a response back. The automated system said 4-6 weeks but it is now over 2 months.Business Response

The Focus Group refuses to release my payments for surveys that have been completed. I have reached out to their team on multiple occasions to get a resolution. They continue to ignore my complaints.
My payments have been processing since 08/09/2023 and 08/18/2023. I requested forms of payments in the form of gift cards.

Have not received compensation for participating in focus group. Event number UIG23802319, medical conditions. Amount due $150.00 plus $8.00 credit I had from past surveys on line. Oct. 5, 2023, I did a focus group at the building on *** *** * **** *** *** **** for the Focus Group, Sago (Schlesinger Group). It’s was the 2nd group I was doing that week. On Oct. 2, I had done a different study. While I was paid the $275 incentive a week later for the Oct. 2 study I did, I have been waiting more than 3 weeks to be paid for the Oct. 5 study. The company is just totally unreasonable. One waits longer to be paid & when one gets paid, it’s such a tedious journey to even gain access to the money. We then have to tolerate a lot of inconveniences just to gain access to our payment. It’s the most annoying form of payment I have ever experienced. The company is almost impossible to gain access to should there be an issue that we need to address - like non-payment. There is no easy direct way to contact them & their website has a lot of dysfunctions. The telephone number asks you to leave a message & then no one gets back to you. This time, I have written to the company x2 (over 2 weeks - it takes almost a week for them to respond) to ask them to release the incentive for my Oct. 5 work. Each time Yasmin (from the company) responds, she then clogs my emails with an expired incentive. I have provided proof to the company to show them that even their system says that my last incentive is still pending & yet Yasmin/or the company refuses to acknowledge this, claiming they have paid me. I genuinely don’t care at this point if I ever work with this company & find their methods sickening. We are practically being reduced to beggars after having done the work. I need the BBB to reach out to them to have them pay my last incentive of $275. I am attaching here proof from their system that confirms that I have yet to be paid & also shows confirmed payment from my last study.

There is so much to say about this awful company! They go by the name, "Sago" now apparently. I completed 2 assignments for Sago on August 17, 2023. One was for "Shoppers" and was supposed to pay me $150 and the other one was for *********** that was supposed to pay me $110. Both studies were online and the confirmation emails stated payment would be within 4-6 weeks. On August 17, 2023,Thursday morning I received an email reminder about Shopper Study from the project coordinator, *******************************, from Sago and I also received a e-document consent form to sign from *********************************** for the ********* Study on the same date. I signed the form and submitted it. I completed both assignments and I contacted **** to get more details on payment since that was not really clear. On August 25, 2023, I sent my first email to their contact email at ******************************************************** and I included a *************************, a project manager I received an email from at *********************** I simply asked how I would receive payment and no one responded. I also called ************************* at ************ and actually spoke to her. When I told her how I had completed 2 studies and had not received any information about payment, she told me that someone from her team would call me. No one ever did. I called *** again and left her a voicemail message since her voice was on the voicemail. I called her again in early Sept. 2023 to ask for help with payment again and that time, the phone went to a generic voicemail. I sent another email to Sago on Sept. 12 this time to ************************************************* to ask about payment for the 2 studies I completed. I received a generic response from zendesk on the same date stating my request (******) had been received and was "being reviewed by our ***** Services Team." I emailed the same email address again on Sept 18, 2023 to ask why I could not get a simple response to my emails. I contacted *********************** on LinkedIn on Sept. 28.
