      If I could put negative stars I would! Reading through all these reviews of people having the same experience as me - we should start a support group! The authorization department tells you ***** covered and then the claims department tells you why youre not. They fight tooth and nail to deny the payment amount that their OWN PEOPLE told you would be. I asked to speak to a supervisor on several occasions and there conveniently never is one around they will make note of my complaint and pass it on. What garbage! I have NEVER had a more blatant lack of customer service in my life!

      Gives false information, to get new customers. Tells customer that they have an addition to their initial year fee, they also have to pay $65 for each service call. However in my research I found out that the $65 does not cover anything. You still have to pay for the service call and if it's not under warranty they don't stand behind it.When they did tell you that they had set up a service call nobody showed up.Would never consider signing up with them again.

      Select home warranty give people the run around due to I have been waiting over 2 months to get my dryer fix. Every time I call they tell me the same thing that they have to order parts. Ive also been waiting for them to get someone out to fix my kitchen sink. I have spoken to supervisor and still nothings complete. I have asked for corporate number and it seems its the same as when you call in for a claim. I wouldnt even give them a 1. They seem like a scam artist because they want you to pay your monthly payment but dont want to fix anything.

      I'd give 0 stars! 8 **** I started my claim, scheduled ** to come take a look at my oven. Five days prior to the scheduled appointment I had something come up and had to reschedule, that was a huge mistake! Using their website to reschedule I thought everything was taken care of, instead I got an email from Select, saying my claim would be closed if they didn't hear from me in 2 days. I called them immediately, told them what happened and I needed it rescheduled. I had planned my entire week around the reschedule date which was September 1, I asked if they could get me an appointment on that day, they said sure no problem I will call you back. No call back. 2 days later I called them. They told me the appointment was now scheduled for the September 2. I told them I would not be available September 2. I needed it September 1 which is what I scheduled on their app. They told me they would get it taken care of and call me back. Two days later no call back. I called yet again, they escalated me up to the customer loyalty department. That person said they would handle it and call me right back. Monday 8-29-22 while on a biz trip I got a call that the ** rep was at my house. I immediately Calle Select, they said it'd be handled and call me back, 2 days later still no call back. So of course I called back again. We are now at August 30. Again I spoke to the customer loyalty department, ****** promised she would call me back and get this taken care of. She may not be able to get it scheduled in September 1 because we were closed that day, but she would get it scheduled and call me back. 2 days later, no call back. Again I called them. Asked to be transferred to the customer loyalty department. 35 minutes later, after being put on hold promised that they would get back to me being put on hold again promising me somebody would speak to me I still don't have my problem resolved. The customer service at this company is the worst ever. Do not, and I repeat do not hire them.

      I regret signing on to this warranty company.

      Recently our HVAC unit went down and we thoroughly did our research to find out if we were covered. The failed components were ABSOLUTELY covered. We filed a claim immediately due to the rising temp outside. At this time, I am 8 months pregnant. SHW chose Temp Pro’s. The house was just hitting 90 degrees but we patiently waited for our appointment set for that Friday, which was not easy. The day of our appointment, I called the assigned company to make sure that we were in the books for the day and he confirmed our appointment (8am-12pm). I was heated at the blatant disregard and DISRESPECT that was shown to me. After constantly calling for follow ups and getting the time pushed back several times that day. No call No show! I was nothing but patient and respectful of his time and did way more communicating on my end than should ever be needed. I was forced to go into Saturday calling other HVAC companies begging for someone to come in on a weekend to fix our issue and thankfully resolved the issue. I should also mention that the company that I ended up using was a former contractor of SHW but stopped working with them due to non payment for services rendered.

      I made sure to take photos of everything (before and after), documenting all conversations, and submitted my receipts to SHW. My total came to $650 for the replacement of condenser and fan motor (parts and labor). Select Home Warranty had informed me that my reimbursement would come to 255.83 for the condenser and labor. I reminded the rep that my fan motor was also covered on my plan. I received a call back the next day adding $20 to my total! I have since been calling to get someone from the Resolution dept to call me asap to explain to me how $20 would cover a new fan motor and labor. No one has called me back to resolve my issue.

      I am beyond disappointed at how this entire situation has been handled and suggest everyone stay away!

      Submitted claim a month ago. They said they couldn't get a contractor out to my house and to hire my own contractor to do the repairs. I had a contractor come out and give an estimate. My drain pipe to my tub fell off. To fix this issue, the tile and tub needs to be removed per the contractor. Select Home Warranty denied the estimate and said it is a tile or grout problem and they do not cover those issues. My drain pipe fell off, how is this a tile problem? Absolutely horrible company! STAY AWAY!

      Have trying to cancel my home warranty with these people and have been put on hold with music for an hour several time and still can’t get it done. It says you have to leave star rating. I wish I could give none.

      I do not recommend spending a single cent with this place of business....pay in full up front for an entire year. Our ac system went out on us and we filed a claim back in June of 2022, every time we have contacted this business to get information on our claim we get no results....they keep explaining that a technician isn't available and state that they will call us back. This is a fraudulent business and steal your money with no results.

      Please, please don't use this company they are scammers and unprofessional, i have not had air in my house for a month, they sent someone to check AC which i don't believe he done what he said after spending $450.00 i still have no air, i was on hold 3 days in a row for a hour just to cancel my service. There contractor are no good either, There warranty don't really cover anything, i would not recommend them to anyone. The people that they contract you with don't answer phone or call you back. I have talked to Supervisors 2 of them and nothing was done. They charged me $75.00 to cancel the bad service i was upset about that. I should have listened when someone told me not to use them because they were bad business but i thought i would give them a try. I am so sorry i didn't listen there is money down the drain for nothing. Again i state do not, i repeat do not use these people. SELECT HOME WARRANTY LLC
