      When they showed up they got right on it and got my A/C running again! Very professional and knowledgeabl. Even gave some great tips on how to maintain my A/C unit. I recommend them to anyone needing help with their A/C unit.

      5 stars for ****** the technician from ********************. 0 stars for Select Home Warranty. Buyer beware. In the contract they do not cover electrical issues with ************* Well, to my knowledge, the **** system is an electrical system. This give them the out to NOT cover an expensive repair. Select HW covered an $80 thermostat replacement for me. However, they have NOT covered a coil replacement ($375), condenser motor ($950), and now a short in condensor wiring ($290).BUYER BEWARE. Its my bad for not reading ALL of the fine print, but when big print says all home systems covered no matter the age, I took them at their word. Shouldve listened to my inner voice, then Id only be out the cost of the repairs.

      Within 24 hours of opening a home service claim, Select Home Warranty had an ********** at our house to diagnose and fix our AC. Were happy with our new home warranty.

      DO NOT PURCHASE THIS WARRANTY. They take your money and do whatever they can to avoid paying for items. I have filed numerous claims and they deny, deny, deny. Their policies have so much fine print, you get a headache trying to read it. They always find a loophole. I recently filed a claim because my 25-year-old AC unit needs to be replaced - not functioning properly. They indicated that the system needed to be upgraded, rather than replaced and of course the coverage does not include an upgrade. They are fraudsters.

      If I could give it zero stars I would. Save your money! This company does not give you enough money to replace any breakdown. Had I not paid the premiums for SHW, I could have replaced my washer with top of the line Speedqueen!

      My AC has a problem with cooling. I submitted a service request at 8am and by 11am Select had found a technician to come out to have a look at it, and fix the issues. Overall very good experience
