    Need to vent: I had PRECISION TECH HOME SERVICES someone I know for 30 years, (a friend?) in the **** Industry put in a AC /Heat pump unit in my condo 2 yrs 3 months ago almost $8k In the 2 years they had to comeback 4 times for shoddy work. Flex vents not zip tied correctly, had to be redone, AC was not checked for Freon when installed, had to comeback and put Freon in. Problem with wiring in thermostat. Then last week one of the vent hoses came off distribution box for air flow. I called them to let them know that it was put on with 2 way tape and no screws to hold it, blowing hot and cold air in the attic for weeks. Since it was 3 months past the labor warranty they wanted to charge me. I got some screws and put them back on correctly. I then called them and said I fixed it , I know what it would cost to send someone to make an easy fix (I did it because it was a friend to save them sending a guy to fix it and not get in an argument about faulty , shoddy installation work from the start. )The straw that broke the camels back is in the last week the thermostat kept going on and off. I called them to fix it, 3 months out of labor warranty and it turned out to be a clog drain line for condensation that would shut off 12v power to thermostat until water level went down. (Did they clean out line when they put in new AC? I dont know) They send a guy to look ,1 minute he knew whats was wrong and vacuumed out the line leading to outdoors , dropped a few tablets in for algae, anti clogging and gives me a bill for $323 for 30 minutes of work. You would think if they knew that , someone (a friend) would have said , sounds like your drain line , check this before I send a guy out. Nope no call, he wont even call me back. Be careful who you hire, especially a friend who forgets how much work you recommend them for in the last 30+ years.I do not recommend PRECISION TECH HOME SERVICES (Thank ***** (Office manager, lol) for making me say who you were)
