  Honestly, I don't have much to add that's different from what others have said. This business is a scam. They call you multiple times changing things and never know "who you spoke with". I was on the phone with one of them when another of them called and then they told me no one had called me. They wanted to charge me a fee for changing a date that had been changed for almost 2 months. **************** here is rude and incompetent.

  If I could get it a lesser than one star, I would. I was quoted by ** to move my one bedroom apartment from **** to *********** told him I have X amount of dollars to spend and he said no problem. We went through everything then the dispatcher called the next day Went through everything with her and took pictures so she couldnt note it. Then when the movers arrived, they said I had three times the amount of furniture and my bill would also be three times as much. Completely dishonest and awful the way I was treated. I would not recommend, and when I went to call ** back, his phone number was disconnected..

  SCAM ALERT-Company cannot execute their contracts in full as a broker. In-laws attempted to use this company (because they didn't let me review it beforehand) and they ended up screwed in the end. The company quoted them cubic footage based on their listed items and boxes. My in-laws said it didn't sound like enough cubic feet and requested an on-site estimate or an estimate based on photographs. Their broker, ***********************, denied their request and assured them all items would fit in the cubic footage AND there would be a team there to load it. Fast forward to moving day, they have 1 hour notice (instead of the promised 24 hour) AND sent a single individual with a small box truck. Sure enough, the items were more cubic footage than the estimate, and they tried to bill about 2k extra. **************** response: "Too bad, we won't refund your money because the moment that moving company pulls into the driveway, we fulfilled our contracts." I've done several cross country moves myself, and I'm very familiar with how these brokerages work, along with their predatory under-estimates. I always advocate an on-site estimate of your actual items, and to avoid brokerages whenever possible. That being said, this one in particular is extremely predatory, attempting to prey on senior citizens. It should be telling enough they marked themselves "permanently closed" on ****** so other customers would stop destroying them in reviews

  Just when you think moving wasnt stressful enough, you get scammed by a moving company ?? I literally have NO tears left ??????? Feel free to leave them a ****** review so other good people dont fall into their trap/ *PLEASE! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!* I got scammed out of almost $2,000. They are extremely unprofessional and take all the money they can get from you as quickly as possible. They stated they are veteran owned, military loved, and promises the ability to get onto a military installation. They lied. Two of my four movers did not have valid ID. One of the only two movers that could get on base was extremely overweight and unable to move a single piece of furniture. Instead, dude sat on MY king size mattress while the ONE worker who had ID moved pieces around. In contract, they state they will notify you BEFORE movers will show up. They did not. Showed up unannounced and unprepared. Then tripled the price before leaving with my property and dropped our contract because we wouldnt give them $10,000 up front. Absolute robbery. I can only hope that poor businesses and companies, like this one, that take every last ***** you have, get what they have coming for them. I really truly hope this saves someone from the h*** we have had to endure with this company.

  I gave them a deposit of $2000 to move me from a storage 10x20 storage shed that was 90% full. When they arrived and had moved 2/3 of the shed into the truck, they told me it would cost another $3000. I told them no because a month earlier another company moved my belongs into the shed and I was billed for 864cubic feet. I told them to unload and they told me that I would need to pay $1500 to do that. The police advised then that is they move the truck, they would be charged with theft. So they did unload the truck scattering my belongings over the parking lot. When I called the company and explained, I was told to go F myself.

  WORSE EXPERIENCE EVER!Customer service is extremely poor!After the pick up we were ghosted!Drop off was a nightmare!Threats made to us if didnt pay amounts not in contract! Actually had to call police as they were combatants and drove off with our stuff!Made the serious mistake of not reviewing them prior! ****** learned!!

  We had what should have been an easy job - a few pieces of furniture and some boxes, which we had already packed. We called Venture and they estimated our necessary cubic feet needed as 435. They didnt ask for photos or measurements. When the movers arrived and we showed them our items. they said it was too much and more than 400 cubic feet. They wanted more money - over twice what we had originally been charged. We called our contact at Venture who was unhelpful, telling us that our stuff was massive according to the movers. The only option she offered us was to cancel the move and forfeit our deposit, which was 1/3 of the total cost. Finally, my husband went out to the truck and discovered that the space allotted for our move was just the back 3.5 feet of the truck. Now, we arent professional movers, but we do know that 7x7x3.5 does not equal 435 cubic feet. The problem was not our massive furniture, but that the movers had showed up with less than half the cubic feet we had contracted. Even if we had agreed to pay the movers the extra money they demanded, they couldnt have fit our stuff in the space available. In the end, we had the movers take what they could fit into the truck and we rented a trailer and moved the rest ourselves. The movers would not release our goods until we paid the full amount based on 435 cubic feet instead of the 175 cubic feet they actually moved. Our contact was consistently uncooperative throughout this process. She was 100% on the side of the movers, almost making us out to be the villains, even when we provided photos and dimensions. She did promise to speak to the owner about getting us a partial refund, but that promise evaporated once our move was completed. When we spoke with her last, she suddenly doesnt know the owner at all and doesnt know how to contact him. So was this a bait-and-switch scam or simple incompetence? Either way, it added up to the worst customer service we have ever endured.

  First of all VVL passes themselves off as a CARRIER not a BROKER. They are a broker: they contracted my move to a third party mover who charged me $600 more than what VVL quoted. Do not use this company. I was told the amount of items I had was about 100 cubic feet of space and more items wouldn't be an issue. That was a lie. VVL took a $500 deposit and made me think THEY were going to handle the move. I could have contacted a mover myself and not given VVL any $ at all.

  Zero stars for lying, stealing, and dodging my calls. Save yourself money and flush $500 down the toilet and then call anybody else for your moving needs.
