    Do not pay for replacement parts, they can't seem to figure out how to get orders down to the warehouse. You'll never see your parts that you need because the kayak is garbage.

    I wouldnt recommend buying anything from this company. **************** ***** and theyll charge you $450 if you try to cancel your order an it hasnt even left the warehouse to be delivered yet

    Hello, You placed an order with our company, we shipped it promptly and you are receiving the order on time. You want to cancel the order while in transit and for some reason find that its our responsibility to pay for return shipping. We are not even charging you for the initial cost to pick the product and ship it although we probably should.Amazing how you can leave our company a negative review.

    I am literally so confused at the bad reviews and complaints I have seen. If you're reading this because you're thinking about getting a kayak, I would recommend them! I believe I ordered mine July 13. I received an email about poor ***************** that would come directly to my house and opted for the better company and met them in a different town about 45 minutes away. Also received timely email replies and even a phone call to confirm! I received an email the 21 saying it shipped. And met the drivers the 31! I absolutely love my kayak. I loved the customer service. My ********************** raised in perfect condition. Nothing was missing. It seems others are probably impatient or weren't understanding due to covid circumstances. But my experience was awesome and I'd give 10 out of 10 if it was an option!

    The bk11 kayak is amazing. Stable and sturdy. After reading reviews I was worried about what I might receive,but after getting it I think most bad reviews were do to shipping issues. Either past the promised delivery date or broken pieces do to shipping. Awesome kayak for the price

    There customers is the WORST! I received my kayak 2 weeks late! Then it looked used when I received it! There suggetion was to wax it with Turtle wax & see it that helps! Personally I shouldn't have too wax a brand new kayak so it don't look used! But I did it anyways! Mind you it now looks like a used waxed kayak!! I was even going to let it slide just so I could get it In the water to realize they didn't include the certificate of origin so custmerservice told me that it's something I had to requesting it before ********** out! This isn't my first kayak & all the other ones came with it when I received them! All in. All not a bad co. Just BAD CUSTOMER SERVES! Ain't that right *********

The kayak does not look used and the areas you are referring to are normal and being over analyzed. We have emailed you several times with your certificate and have mailed a copy as well.     The kayak took forever to arrive. At the time, ***** was cited as the culprit. When it did arrive, it was missing an included accessory, which took several more emails and weeks to obtain. The kayak itself (TK122) is ok large tandem that tracks fairly well. Disappointing, however, are the following: broken carry handle in the first few months; powder coat is peeling off of all of the rails and the rubber scup plugs are broken after barely more than two seasons, during which the kayak was well cared for; customer service stock answer is an offer to sell replacement parts. For these reasons, I cannot recommend BKC.

    I would give BKC zero stars, but it doesnt give me that option! DO YOUR RESEARCH before you order and DO NOT read their website reviews because they are not what Im finding to be the true experiences with this company. BKC knows they cant deliver to many many locations but they will not inform you until you have already handed over money to them. They LIE, ignore you, will not answer their phone. I asked for my money back twice because of the hassle they put me through. They gave me a credit of $75 and also told me they would credit me another $100 for the continuing problems but that never happened and stopped answering my emails. So frustrating, they should be shut down! I waited 3 weeks when I should have received it in 1 week to 10 days and had to meet a rental truck with 2 guys at a gas station 40 mins away. The chair in the kayak was damaged and I sent them a message asking for the part and of course they didnt send the correct part even though they had a picture of it, they sent a generic cap for the end pieces on the legs so I had to order them off Amazon if I wanted the chair to fit in the kayak properly.I would never recommend this company to anyone read the BBB reviews and they certainly arent even close to their own website reviews! I could go into detail about everything that happened, but there are not enough characters to do that. If you read all the other reviews, many of the customers experienced what I experienced with this kayak company and they dont care and flat out lie! Note you can also read the Amazon reviews because they also sell via Amazon.

    VERY UNHAPPY WITH BROOKLYN KAYAK I ordered a BKC TK122 Angler 12-foot, 8 inch Tandem Sit On Top Fishing Kayak w/ **************** Frame Seats and Paddles 1 which fell under there free shipping waited over a week to get a tracking number never happen instead i got a e-mail stating that there trucking company does not ship past ******* ** i am over 200 miles one way from there and they wanted to know if i could meet the trucking company there to pick up my order and then drive over 200 miles back home and they would credit me 100 dollars on my order .I NEVER HEARD OF SUCH A THING FROM A COMPANY .

    Hello, Thank you for your feedback. This is very common with a product this large and tough to deliver. ******************** like ********* will damage your kayak so we do not use them. We use a very specific carrier to deliver with quality and care and unfortunately, there are limits to where they can deliver. Again, this is very common with a product like this so its unfortunate you feel it necessary to write us a negative review.Sorry we could not make this work for you.

    I recently ordered the ** 14 Tandem pedal kayak. The ordering process was very easy and my kayak was shipped out and received in about 2 weeks. The kayak was wrapped very well for shipping and the truckers carried it exactly where I asked. All was well. Until I unwrapped it and saw many odd looking places on the body of my kayak. It actually looked used. There were scuff marks from some kind of rubbing with abrasive material that appeared to come from being strapped down when it was shipped from *****. If I had seen this kayak in a store I would have immediately rejected it. After notifying the company in ********** via emails a representative called me to inform me that all these scuffed up places were normal for their product. He stated that if I was sent another kayak it would be scuffed up like this one. Even though I told him that the condition of this kayak was completely unacceptable he said that all of the kayaks they sell would be in this same condition. Normal for Brooklyn Kayak Company. The kayak will probably perform well but will always look like a used and abused kayak. The ones on their website are very pristine and that was what I expected. They did however offer me a 1/2 of 1 percent store coupon.If I sound like sour grapes it is only because I did not receive what I paid for and nothing but a "I'm sorry" for my troubles. Just beware!!!
