    On October 16th 2022 myself along with my mother (***********************) made our way to *** with a church group for a tour to ******. We were all paid in full. When we arrive at the airport, we were notified that our flight (Air Canada) had *** cancelled. We were stuck in LA for 3 days. On the 3rd day, we all (there were 12 of us including myself and mother) purchased our own flight tickets (ElAl) and made our way to ****** the following morning to catch up with the other members and join in on what was left of our tour. When we got back home after finishing our trip, we all contacted TripMate which is the insurance company to Coral Tours. We initially were required to purchase a protection plan. We all filed a claim with TripMate for reimbursement of our additional flight we had to pay out of pocket for (ElAl) and the missing 3 days we missed out on while stuck in LA, and the food we had to purchase while in LA. We are currently working with the insurance company to get reimbursement. I am making a claim against Coral Tours because I have reached out to them a couple times now and have asked for a list of what our trip cost covered. I told them we paid over $4000 for this trip and I wanted to have a breakdown of it. They refuse to provide this information to me. They will only refer us to TripMate. In speaking with TripMate they said they can not reimburse us for our original flight cost. They are working with us to reimburse us for the cost of the additional flight we had to purchase but we paid for insurance to cover that. When we ask why we have not been reimbursed for the original flight we purchased, they said Coral has to refund us that money because we paid them directly. We (myself and mother) are requesting our money back from the flight they charged us and we never received. I cant provide how much the original flight was because they refuse to provide any information. The package that we purchased for this trip was $4070.00 for 11 days and we had to purchase insurance in addition to that. We are owed money out of that $4070 each for the flights that we purchased and never received.
