After being recommended to this dentist, I have been forced to pay for their services up front due to them claiming that they have difficulty getting claims that they file from the insurance company. This came after I told them that I had *********************. The requested that I sign up with ***** and that they get better service from them; however, every time they file a claim it is never covered by Cigna!!!!!Every time I called both Delta or Cigna they advised me the dentist never filed the claim or the dentist used inappropriate codes. This dentist is horrible and every time I went to have something done they had a new receptionist who was helping with billing which was adding to their disgraceful billing practices. They keep claiming that it is always the insurances fault but they never let me know when the file a claim, then they threaten to send the bills to collections. These people are a complete disgrace!!!!!!!

I appreciate you getting back to me with the problem that I have with this case is that this doctor lied and said she filed a detailed bill to *************** and to this day I have contacted them four times in the past two weeks and they emphatically deny a claim was ever put into them. Then the point that youre missing and it doesnt make any kind of sense at all and I question you are sincerity because the Bill she sent to me and to ************ is for all the work to be done on one day when it took four visits and a lot of work And a lot of pain from the work so the bill is a fraudulent bill and you dont seem to care one eye out about that.

My name is **** *******, and I am the Operations Manager for Dr. *********************** I want to start by reassuring you Dr. ********************** did not mislead you in any way. Dr. ********************** is focused solely on providing excellent dental care and does not handle any administrative matters.I am personally taking over your case. I have reviewed your files, and everything was submitted correctly, but I will have our insurance administrator, ******, resubmit your claim on your behalf. We always strive to secure the maximum reimbursement from insurance for our patients. Your claim was paid by ***** but not by Cigna. After 90 days, any unpaid claims are transferred to the patient. In your case, as you're aware, we have made attempts for almost a year to have it processed. Please know the bill is not fraudulent. It was submitted for the procedure performed, and any additional visits were billed at zero dollars. As you know, additional x-rays were needed for the claim in May. You came in, the x-rays were taken, and they were submitted, with no charge to you. No other claims were submitted for any visits apart from the bridge procedure.I have removed your account from collections, and I want to assure you your credit will not be impacted. I will personally oversee this until it is resolved. If there is any remaining balance after all efforts have been exhausted, we will discuss it at that time.Thank you for your understanding, and please dont hesitate to reach out if you have any further questions.

Im only responding to this memo because I am reading it and it never addresses main issue that Ive been saying over and over and over again!!!!!!The bill that they sent me a copy of shows, they submitted it to ************ and they were paid by ************ roughly $1500 on the bill. It shows the secondary insurer as CIGNA dental, but because the bill shows a date of service contrary to the actual dates of service, which were all in February and March they would never be covered because the beginning date of my insurance coverage was February 1, which was discussed by me and Dr. ********************** as well as her staff, and I was assured that the bill will be properly dated for February 1 and further that way, there was no problem with the bill.I am completely flabbergasted that this was turned over to a collection agency when I already paid upwards of $3800 and any monies that came from the assurance company would well cover the standard fee for the work that was done. I have no interest in anyone interceding in this matter as it has already put a blemish on my personal credit and reputation. It is an utter disgrace that I was referred there by a close mutual friend, and Ive been treated in such a disgraceful manner, and I have no intentions of returning for any work to be done there. When I called that office and I was told that I should take a secondary dental insurance plan, which they stated CIGNA was a better plan and they worked more easily with and then this turned out to be a complete of a nightmare with me having to come out of my pocket before any work was done is a disgrace. Im not a stranger to have dental work done and if you tell me to pay you $3800 before you even take an impression then that is for sure the amount that the insurance company stated would be the maximum out-of-pocket and I have no intention of paying more. Ive been to two other dentists since and they confirm that besides the $3800 I paid and the 1500 that ***** paid and any further monies that a properly submitted bill to ***** would pay as far more than what the service was worth.I was made to believe that the $3800 that I paid was my out-of-pocket payment and that was even told to me at the time, and that the insurance would pay the rest and that I may even see money returned to me, but this was obviously a batch of lies because the only place that anything that comes from the insurance companies goes directly to the doctor and I would never see a ***** in my pocket.
