      Description of the Problem:
I purchased a brand-new graphics card from ***** an authorized retailer, which was shipped to me in a sealed retail box. I installed the GPU myself—it was not pre-installed in a prebuilt system* **** has confirmed in writing that because the part was sold and shipped in retail packaging, the warranty responsibility falls on the GPU manufacturer, not them.

The manufacturer is refusing to honor the warranty, falsely claiming that the GPU came as part of a prebuilt system and therefore is not eligible. This is not true. I have email confirmation from **** explicitly stating the unit was shipped in a new box and that the warranty must be handled by the manufacturer. In addition, the serial number confirms that the product is still within its warranty period.

Despite this, the company continues to stonewall and delay responses, often taking excessive time to reply—dragging this issue out for over a month. I’m more than willing to provide email documentation to support every part of this claim. It’s unacceptable that a manufacturer would attempt to dodge basic warranty responsibilities, especially when the product was bought new, from an authorized source, and is still well within the valid warranty period.

I’m submitting this complaint to ensure other consumers are warned about this company’s lack of support, slow response times, and refusal to stand behind their products.

PNY Technologies forced me to pay for computer technician services on three separate occasions before issuing an RMA for my faulty RTX 4060 Ti graphics card, which is not standard for warranty service. They also tried to redirect me to use a **** *** warranty that I don’t have, sending me in circles and clearly trying to wear me down so I would give up. They made me pay for shipping twice even though the product was still broken after the first repair, and they still charged me to ship the graphics card again even though I reached out within 30 days of receiving the defective product. They refused to issue a second RMA without extra costs. Their customer service was extremely rude, and when I pointed out that their actions were a breach of the warranty contract, I was ignored, belittled, and told to comply or be denied service. They tried bullying me into giving up, lied about their policies, and refused to transfer me to other care technicians despite my requests. I was forced to drive to multiple locations, wasting gas money and time. This entire process caused significant financial stress, general stress, and frustration, especially since I rely on my computer for school. Overall, their treatment added unnecessary hardship and appears unfair and potentially fraudulent. They seem to want to refuse service and every turn. The amount of money spent is 300 to 400 dollars just money spent. I could argue it’s 600-700 because we planned to cancel our ******* total care but because of the constant graphics card issues and trips there due to them forcing us to go when they are supposed to check the graphics card for the computer not me. That’s what the RMA is for. So due to this constant need to get it checked again ******* we made the hard decision of renewing it. This process has taken about a year and I could be forgetting details this entire process has been made complicated and difficult so that I would quit. Please feel free to to reach out I can provide email proof

I bought a PNY GTX 3060 12GB on 10/15/2021. It has a 3 year warranty and a couple months ago it stopped working. I realized recently it had a 3 year warranty and contacted PNY support and started a support ticket. After days of communication and giving them everything they asked, they said there was nothing they could do because of a damaged sticker.

Bought PNY graphics card. The card is faulty. We found out that it was a bad card after taking it to a computer shop to run test on our tower and the card. Everything worked just fine with another graphics card, proving that it was PNYs faulty card. We requested to return it and were given specific instructions. After doing everything as we were told by the PNY including the report and the receipt from the computer shopPNY claimed that none of it was true, and refused to exchange the graphics card. This company is a scam.

In Spring 2022 i ah ve attended PNY sponsored webinar. Attendees were informed that one of the participants will win new video card from PNY RTX PRO A4500. This card was launched in November 2021 with MSRP of $2499. At the time of webinar PNY dealers were already selling this card for much less ( under $2000). After some time I was notified that I won. I was asked to provide personal details before product was delivered to **** have received this video card last week of May 2022.This video card was not in retail packaging which a the time was nothing to worry about. This year in February I received **** from PNY regarding winning my price. I am shocked that PNY notified IRS that my financial gain was MSRP of the product when it launched in 2021 and not how much it was selling at the time of delivery.I just checked how much is this video card selling from PNY dealer, it is under $1000 and MSRP of $1399 ********************************************************************************************************************* I have tried reaching out to PNY to get **** form corrected but NOBODY reached out back to me. If I knew that PNY would file **** from for that price I would have rejected winning price and would have purchased this video card for nearly half of launch price. ( In June 2022 it was $1000 *** than November 2021 launch price)

GPU overheats as fan frequently stops and restarts while in use. I am no longer able to get the fan to continuously run. I opened up a repair claim under warranty with PNY. Support responded with numerous questions and I was eventually informed that "Mining PNY video cards voids your warranty." Although I have used the card for mining I have not made any modifications to the card whatsoever. The fan's failure to operate is a manufacturing defect and not as a result of my usage. PNY should repair the card under warranty instead of hiding behind an exclusion on their website.
