    On 05/02/2025 my wife ordered a skin care product from The Spa Doctor. Shortly after making this order (1-2 hours) she cancelled the order due to numerous negative reviews she found. She also asked for a refund. The Spa Doctor agreed and refunded $25.61. We thought the relationship with The Spa Doctor was over. Then, on 06/01/2025, a charge of $128.10 was made to our credit card. Unknown to us, The Spa Doctor had enrolled my wife in a monthly subscription. I eventually received an email from ***** (no last name) with The Spa Doctor, offering help with the deceptive subscription enrollment as well as our full refund request. ***** confirmed that the "subscription" was cancelled but no refund was possible because of their "policies". After trading emails, ***** offered to refund 50% of the $128.10 to "help" us out. I refused as we will not reward the types of deceptive, and unethical (illegal??) business practices that this company engages in. The Spa Doctor claims that their subscription information is clear on their webpages. If that is the case, why are there dozens of complaints on several different websites (BBB, TrustPilot, YELP, ********, etc) who all have the SAME COMPLAINTS...UNWANTED SUBSCRIPTIONS, UNAUTHORIZED CREDIT CARD CHARGES (some charges going on for months), refund refusals, etc? I wonder how many people out there who have fallen for The Spa Doctor's "1st time offer" continue to pay for a subscription they don't use for a product or service they don't want? I hope the BBB can assist us in the pursuit of a full refund.
