    Avoid Goldin. These are not real auctions. I was the only bidder on an auction. Three days after the auction closed, I received an email cancelling the sale due to "technical difficulties."

    Hi *****,Please allow us to elaborate on the technical issue. There were duplicate items listed in auction, our team noticed and immediately removed from auction. Typically, when there are technical errors like that, the removed items go to an inactive portion of the auction. Due to a technical issue, these duplicate items such as the one you bid on stayed live through a back end part of the website were not visible from the main auction catalogue directly. This is why you were the only bid on the item, they were only viewable outside of the main catalogue. Once this was noticed, we notified the bidders and moved the item to the following auction. Four other like pairs have been sold, with all of the winners receiving their ********************* sneakers. We strive to create the best experience for both consignors and buyers alike, and hope you understand the reasoning behind our action. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused on our behalf. Thank you.

    This year I decided to search online for more information about a bag of comics that I received and found (name omitted) at Goldin Auctions. After sending pictures of the comics to (name omitted) he quickly called me and gave me an estimate on what I could get by auctioning my comics with Goldin Auctions. I was skeptical about the amount but after the close of three auctions his estimate was amazingly accurate. Goldin Auctions and (name omitted) have been great to work with. I just needed to pack up my comics and they handled the rest. He even sent me a video on how to package my comics for shipping. Goldin Auctions had my comics graded, wrote the descriptions of the comics (which I thought were great!), and of course have the name recognition to reach a wide audience to get a large number of bidders. I still have a few more comics to sell (there is a backlog for grading) but I am confident that Goldin Auctions will find a bidder for all of them.

    My experience with Goldin Auctions was always positive equal to if I won an auction or sold a card with them. Maybe I was lucky but my assistant was very helpful and respected my wishes.I can agree that sometimes values are variable, but I can only talk about my own experiences and I have to say ***** are some scalpers on **** and the prizes I reached via auction was absolut legit. I'm sorry for other customers they had bad experiences, but I bet they are very helpful till the end.I like to deal with you and for me as an european citizen it's more complicated to get cards in general and I always get the feeling they do their very best.

    I have trusted this company twice to auction my sports memorabilia and both times they have blatantly disregarded my instructions of how I wanted my cards graded & auctioned. The last auction I requested that one of my card be pulled before the auction started and be regraded correctly and they said they would, but then they left it in the *********** received less than a third of what I was expecting to get. Their unprofessional has cost me thousands of dollars in these last 2 ************************** will never use them again. I have been in the memorabilia business for almost 40 years & never have I been treated with such disrespect & disregard to my wishes. I would steer clear of any dealings with ******************** Auction going forward since they have been bought out & MR ******************** is no longer in charge of the company. They can NOT be trusted to do what is in the customers best interest. There are far better companies out there now that can & will get handle you as a valued customer.

    Used to love Goldin but the last 18 months have been pretty awful. Currently have a pair of batting gloves that I paid for a month ago that still have not shipped, customer service has done nothing but give me entitled attitude over the phone and same song and dance over email. They lost a game used ****** bat for an entire month that I sent for consignment and when they found it they listed it in an auction that closed out at the same time as a massive Heritage Auction and ******************** close out night They also sent me a ******************* bat that was "game used" but on the *** directly from ******************* stated "used in practice". I would consign and buy from other auction houses until they can get their act together.

    My card graded as a BGS 9.5/auto 10 /10 sold for less than ungraded cards that are /50 on ***** Stay away from this company if you want to get the value of your card. It sold for probably 30% of the value of the card. I asked before the auction for promotion and they flat out said they would not.

    Awful company. I sold a card twice, zero money sent to me. They sold my one of a kind ball signed by six hall of famers for $131. About $5,000 less than its worth.Truly an awful company. Use **** instead because these people dont care one bit.

    Bought a Lebron/Jordan quad auto. Was given the run around for a whole month. After all that they told me the lost the card. Worst experience working with any auction house.

    I recently sold an invaluable, rare wrestling collectible - Macho Man signed autograph papers. I pitched these to Goldin straight through their website and promptly got a reply from the incredible ***********************, their in-house wrestling collectible extraordinaire. His communication from start to finish, helping me understand the ins and outs of their system, facilitating the *** authentication, and just his pure candor and expert understanding of wrestling (and baseball card) collectibles, was second to none.
