In June, I consigned 28 graded games to Goldin Auctions. They sold 17 of them & never paid me! I waited 1.5 months & contacted Goldin. They voided the set of cheques that got lost in the ***** ****** a new cheque with a combined total. The old set, $3,015 USD total. The new cheque was $2,500 USD. Now, I got all of the cheques. ONLY after they were voided due to the LONG wait. The $2,500 was voided & I was told they would be wire transferring me the money. That was several days ago.. Each day, they say were working with the accounting team to wire that over. No money each day. In addition, I started off talking to a gentlemen named *********************************, he passed me off to a guy named ******* when I complained & he passed me off to the account manager, ****. But, why would the account manager need confirmation from the accounting team...? Goldin Auctions is a scam. I did receive the 11 games back that didnt sell.. But, I had to pay $150 to get them back..... & Im still waiting to get paid for 17 that did sell in their July auction... Its almost October...... I now have 4 voided cheques & when I contacted the ********* they told me not to try to cash anything from Goldin because they believe the fraudulent activity will somehow drain my account, if the cheques likely bounce. I am having my first child in November. This was supposed to ********** egg for any upcoming **************** I cant even get paid what Im owed.. I spent the entire COVID-19 pandemic, collecting sealed games & having them graded... Goldin is attempting to steal my ********* will not have it. Please.. Someone stop them.

worst auction house i've ever done business with. sold my items for a tenth their value by giving terrible descriptions and undervalued everything they were given. then when they eventually sent the check it didn't cover all the proceeds.they also sent the check to the wrong address which caused innumerable problems. then they didn't auction off the most valuable item but sent it to their warehouse and left it there. after fighting for 3 months with them they finally returned it to me however they sent it to the wrong address so i still haven't received it. it was a set of1957 topps basketball cards. i don't know what i will get back if i can ever find since it has now been sent to a *** storage facility. i would tell anyone thinking of using goldens to find another auction house. either they are incredibly stupid, or negligent or just plain thieves i don't know but beware. use them aye your own risk. i had threaten federal prosecution for mail and wire fraud before i was sent my item and i still don't have it.

My experience with GA was nothing short of an absolute nightmare!!Rule #1: NEVER, EVER send them an ungraded card Rule #2: Take a lot of pictures of your items/watch your items closely I sent them my LeBron rookie card collection of more than 150 cards because they were supposed to be the best auction house. GA: The premier and top notch auction house in the industry. Hardly! Their Vault storage was for graded cards only. It did not show all of my graded cards! They were supposed to run all my cards in one auction. In the beginning of the actual auction there were 16 of my cards missing. After I notified them, I was asked twice to tell them which cards were missing, even though we had a signed contract listing every card. Once told, they added the missing cards mid-auction! Then they removed 9 high-end cards and put them in the next auction. Some descriptions and quantities of certain lots were incorrect. It was like pulling teeth to get them to correct their mistakes - and they made a lot of them! One of my high-end cards (sold for $6,*** - before any fees). After receiving a check with itemized paperwork, I told them they owed me more. Then they told me, that card was defaulted on. Nice vetting process. Do you think that information would be important to a client? I was then told that the defaulted card was being prepped and would be rerun in the June auction (about one month later) it did not. It didnt run in the July auction and wasnt part of the preview for the August auction. Why? It is simple: An attitude of we have your card and we are in charge. Thats a hell-of-a way to treat any client. Talk about a lack of professionalism. You should be ashamed of yourselves! After contacting the ************* Attorney General (among other agencies), my defaulted card was returned to me. I would like to thank the agencies that help the little guy. I should write a book: The Fish Salesman, a bully, and the girl caught in the middle. Sorry, NO SEQUELS!!!
