I have been a 25+ year customer of ********************** Sunday paper delivery service. However, I have not received a hard copy of the Sunday Star Ledger for approximately the past year. I have called the customer service number on 6 separate occasions within the past year to report this and to request cancellation of my subscription. Each time, a customer service representative credited me for back issues that were missed and promised to remedy the situation by returning delivery to me. Any remediations offered at the time have not worked. I was billed again for services not provided in December and January. On 09February2025 at 10:30am EST, I called the customer service number again, as I had not received my hard copy paper for the months of December and January. I eventually spoke with a supervisor, **** ******. **** told me that he could not credit me for any missing back issues because I didn't call during the months of the December or January, when the missing issues occurred. He first cited that this 'policy' is stated in the terms and conditions. I asked him to send the terms and conditions to me in writing. At this point he acknowledged that the terms and conditions don't actually state that the customer has to call during the month in which there was an issue in order to receive credit for missed service. He then said there was nothing he could do about my balance, despite acknowledging that I had not received service. I then asked to speak to his supervisor, to which he replied that his supervisor would not speak to me over the phone and that he was the only person I could speak to about my issue. This issue has been extremely frustrating to deal with over the past year. At this point, it feels like Star Ledger's customer service practices are unethical and immoral. Since I did not receive a hard copy paper for the months of December and January, I do not expect that I will be charged accordingly. I sent an email to Star Ledger as well but have not heard back.

I have been a customer for upwards of 20 years receiving the Star Ledger on a daily basis. Up until approximately 2 years ago, my paper has been delivered in a timely fashion, usually by 7:30 - 8:00 AM. From that point, delivery of the paper has been - for lack of a better term - horrendous and inconsistent and NEVER BEFORE 9:00 AM. The former person who delivered the paper retired. I have complained and get the same story - that they're sorry and will let the delivery person know. Of course I'm always reminded I can read the paper digitally. However, as a senior, and since I pay over $90 monthly, I prefer to read a newspaper the old fashioned way and I shouldn't have to compromise. Believe me if I could, I would go out and buy the paper at a local store and cancel my subscription. As a side note, the past five days the paper wasn't delivered prior to 10:30 AM.I've grown tired of calling and lodging complaints without getting any improvement in service. Either the current person delivering the paper has too many customers on the route and can't possibly deliver any earlier, or he or she is irresponsible and doesn't start early enough. Either way it is no comfort to me that I need to, in my senior years, have to be subjected to this kind of service. I have spoken to many other disgruntled customers in my community who feel the exact same way I truly hope a reprimand from your office will result in better customer service.

I've emailed and called the star ledger newpaper countless times regarding their littering my driveway, without any avail. I'm so sick and tired of scraping it off the pavement I want them to stop throwing their trash paper very Sunday on my property. At first emails were responded to saying they will stop, but now no one even responds and more importantly NOTHING is being done! I just came back after being 2 weeks of being away and sure enough 2 disintegrated papers on my driveway. JUST STOP! HOW IS THIS EVEN LEGAL TO THROW UNWANTED TRASH ADS ON SOMEONE's PROPERTY!!!
