Hearing Life harasses me daily although I block them they have technology to get around a block. Over and over i asked them to leave me alone. They keep on and I now can't stand them. This is also the treatment someone would get who bought a hearing aid from them. Bad disrespectful consult and hearing aids.HearingLife

The last couple of years have been a nightmare at the ***************** ******* Try to get refills on the FREE for life batteries. One girl said they were sent out that was a week ago its been almost 2 weeks. Try to talk to someone forget it. Back and forth from ******* to Westgate and voice mail at that. Had my annual exam this past Nov. I hadn't even been tested yet and ******* was already trying to sell me new devices. REALLY. All I want is my free batteries not high blood pressure trying to deal with this. . I live in an adult community and many will need or have hearing aids. They will definately get bad reviews from me for sure.HearingLife

Batteries are available at no charge for certain hearing aid purchases. Policy indicates that if batteries are requested to be mailed, there is a postage fee of $3.00. There is no fee if patients come into the office to pick up.Review fromHENRY C

On 1/4/2024 I went to your office at *******************************************************************************. I saw an audiologist named *****. My hearing devises were not performing properly and I needed to have them fixed or purchase a new pair. The audiologist told me it would cost $600 to repair. So I opted to purchase a new pair. She took my insurance information and said she would submit the request to my insurance provider. On 1/5/2024 I called the office and she informed me she had not heard anything from the insurance. On 1/8/2024 I checked with my insurance provider and they informed me that no request had been submitted. I then called the off and they informed me that she wasn't able to submit the request because the audiologist couldn't submit the request because her license was expired. She then called me and told me she could submit a request through other methods but I would first have to pay $1000.00 up front and my insurance would reimburse me. I called my insurance and they informed me that that's not how it works. This audiologist is working and servicing patients without a license and attempting to get money from me fraudulently. The office in ****** needs to be investigated and corrected ASAP as I intend to file a formal complaint against themHearingLife

My biggest complaint is the service. I've probably been back two or three times to have my aids cleaned. They're made so that the tiniest bit of wax will cause them not to work. it's impossible to clean it yourself the way they're made now. The cleanings used to be free but when I went there the other day, I was informed not only do I need to pay ninety five dollars for the appointment but another sixty five to clean them. Told him I didnt need an appointment just a cleaning but you have no choice. it only takes about five minutes for them to remove the wax and I refuse to pay the ridiculous price. I will try to get an appointment with my old hearing aid place but dont know if they'll work on aids that I didnt buy from them My advice, stay away from this company!!!HearingLife

Thank you for the opportunity to address your concern. Some hearing aid purchases are completed through a third party and not directly through HearingLife. Because of this, maintenance services will incur service fees from HearingLife.Review fromBetty Jane T

I got my hearing aids at the ********** office. I went in for a follow up visit in November of this year. I was told that my hearing aids were no longer any good. That the small chip inside them only lasted 4 to 4 1/2 years. I needed to buy new ones. I was also told I had a large wax build ** in my left ear and was shown that an a monitor. I was lied to up one side and down the other. I'm going to contact my insurance company and if they were charged anything I'm going to file fraud charges against Hearing life.HearingLife

I sent this to your customer service email address a couple of weeks ago and have not heard anything back I wanted to bring your attention to an unsettling visit I made to your ************** office. I arrived at the suggested time and was asked to wait for a minute. Then a young man came out of his office and asked me to join him in there. Immediately there was an unwelcoming vibe. I explained the symptoms and the details on what I was experiencing. The volume was extremely low making the hearing aid worse than hearing without it. He took the hearing aid and left the office. He walked back in and told me that the hearing aid was working perfectly, and it was outputting at the same level as when it left the factory. I assumed that he had fixed it. I put it back in my ear and it was no different from when I walked into the office. I asked him if he checked the receiver, since that was the issue when I came in for a repair a few weeks ago. He said he did and that there was nothing wrong. He indicated that he would have to send it back to the factory and that I would be without the hearing aid until they returned it. We went back and forth over this issue and I finally asked him to change the receiver once again. He got up in a **** and went and got a new receiver. I asked if I could watch him change it and he turned his back so I couldnt see. He then handed me the hearing aid back and when I inserted it into my ear, it was perfectly clear again. A couple of my feelings about working with him:1. He either didnt test the receiver or lied about the results.2. He tried to intimidate me into leaving the office with a faulty hearing aid. I wonder how many others have left the office without their hearing aids working.3. He was very condescending and terse when talking to me.4. As a Hearing Instrument Specialist, isnt his role to make sure hearing aids are operating as designed and ensure the customer is satisfied?HearingLife

1 starMy husband paid more than 5 thousand dollars for rechargeable hearing aids in April, 2023, and has not been able to hear for more than two weeks, is unable to even use his phone,as he cannot hear! I brought them back to the location from which he purchased them, and after asking how long he would be without, was told a rush would be requested!! I would think that would be expected, as the client is unable to hear!!! It has been 10 days without any communication, and if this is the service provided to anyone who needs the product, regardless of age, look elsewhere for this service. Deplorable!!!Review fromBarb S

I bought hearing aids from them several years ago. I am tired of all the telemarketing calls. They are using spoof numbers with my area code, thinking I will be fooled into answering. Despite my asking them to stop calling, they continue to harass me daily!HearingLife

********** had a good experience at their local office and was pleased. However, their corporate office calls at least once a week wanting me to schedule a follow up hearing exam every 6 months. I tell them no, but they keep calling.HearingLife
