    Online subscription cancelled in August 2023. *********************************** continued to charge me. Also charged me the increased price from $11.99 to $14.99 a month.Spoke to Gannett three times. Got the run around even though they saw the cancelation. Contacted my bank and they were able to dispute Gannett and bank credited me back several months. Never got the remaining payments back.Was told no more charges from Gannett going forward. This was Oct 10th of this year. Once again a $14.99 charge from ******* was posted to my bank account today, November 8th.I've had no company product...online newspaper since August 2023. My account was confirmed cancelled by both ******* and my bank. Yet I've been and continue to be charged every month.That's theft/fraud. I want it stopped and a refund issued by ********I had to contact BBB as I've been getting no where. They are taking money from me continually after the account should have been closed.

    The Courier News regrets this customer's poor experience.  We have cancelled this subscription and initiated a refund to the customer's card.  We attempted to reach the customer via phone and left voicemails informing them of the cancellation and refund.  Direct contact information was provided in case further assistance is required.
