  I hired Constance ********************** as my attorney for the re-evaluation of child support case. The initial retainer amount was $ **** , however the final bill was over $6000. During the process of the case I did most of the work myself, such as drafting my motion, reviewing documentation, the only thing that attorney Constance ********************** did was file the paperwork with the court and she was also present at the hearing. I have expressed my wishes to Ms. ********************** as to how I wanted the case handled, she prolonged the final outcome as much as she could to have a reason to charge more money. Also Attorney ********************** flat out right refused to file a motion in court for me after my numerous requests to do so and insisted on her own course of action, which prolonged the case even more. I consistently had to contact her for responses, which were always delayed. Hiring her was a clear mistake, her lower retainer fee is used to attract customers which then have to pay much more as a result. I strongly believe that the actions described above are unethical for a lawyer, and would not recommend hiring her.

  This review is from a scam artist. She had no intention of paying her bill, asking to wait until the end to pay rather than keeping up monthly about half way through the case. I was able to secure her almost 6 times the amount of child support she was previously receiving. She only prepared one document which needed significant editing. All other documents were prepared by my office. The retainer fee charged is reflective of the facts presented at the outset of a case. **************** case was actually resolved by my office more quickly than if we had agreed to file her frivolous motion on the eve of finalizing a consent order which resolved her case in her favor. Its truly sad that people who dont want to pay for services rendered to them go to the Internet to bad mouth a business. Unfortunately, this litigant is very ungrateful and does not understand the process or legalities involved in family law.

  Unfortunately this attorney just proved her own incompetence, already stated in my review. I have proof and receipts for every single bill that I have paid in all honor to this business, except as stated for the last one which was so inflated that I wrote this review in the first place to advise other potential clients to hire someone who charges fairly.
