      I had garage man came here on July 30th. It was worst experience I ever had. He trespassed my property without my consent which I told the company to contact me 30 minutes prior the arrival. I live behind the gates. I saw him in my front door and I was surprised and asked who was he. He said I was going to call you right now. I mean I asked 30 minutes prior my appointment. Anyways, I had socal garage man installed my new garage door opener in January and I did not have chance to use it and the garage man never updated my garage remote and the customer service *** told me it won't be charged for it and the company brought socal garage. It was still in warranty and I was surprised the technician was very rude and did not help me and kept telling me who told you it's free and it was very frustrating because of the customer service. I complained and spoke to one of two ***. **** said the manager will contact me since they were in meeting that say I complained on 30th then I called twice that day they were "still in the meeting" then I called next day on 31st and they said they are actual still in meeting and there is only two manager working. **** will promise get back to me. Never got follow up. I am disappointed that they said they have "NOT" got any warranty information from other company called socal garage. It is very disappointing situation and I never still have any phone call from manager since 30th. Which it has been 3 days. Ridiculous. I want a response from company. Please email me which is best way to communicate.

We understand that unexpected home repairs can be costly and are rarely less than frustrating of an experience. We understand your frustration with your warranties not being transferable to our company, we ran calculations and came to the conclusion that it is not viable for us to provide you with that service at no cost. My manager **** spoke with you over the phone regarding the details of your warranty not being transferable, however, if you would like more information please feel free to reach out we would be more than happy to go over more details with you. If you would like us to review your invoice, please contact our office at your earliest convenience. We want nothing more than your satisfaction with your experience.

      I am rejecting this response because: Wow after about 8 months later, you responded to this ridiculous fabricate excuse of this complaint. You just made it up that unexpected repairs can be costly. Excuse me. I called your company and I did not remember who I spoke with. They told me it wont be charged until your guy show  at my house disrespectful. Kept demanding who told you that and I had to escalate the situation and glad my neighbor was outside and I had to ask your guy to leave my property. I had contract with the original owner and they told me I had a warranty. First of all, you are liable for all warranties and it is not my problem if you are having issue with all of information being transferred. Obviously you are running sketchy business. Then your manager I do not remember their name since its been several months ago. You cannot accused me of excusing transferring the warranties. You have no evidence its been 8 months and you are responding to my complaint and do my favor stop defending your malipratice. I do not trust your company at all. It is too bad that the original owner transfer to your company. My request was very simple and basic because the original owner told me he will come back and reconnect the remote because there was issue at the job of original installation. I find ridiculous that you are apologizing and not getting to make it work or find any solution. I see your reviews everywhere is very bad about your company and your practice how you run.

      Hello ******, We always mention that we do not charge for the technician to come out or to provide the quote. I believe that is where the confusion is coming from and I apologize if we gave you the wrong impression. We are not the same company as your previous company and cannot guarantee that we will be able to honor their warranties. we apologize for this inconvenience and hope you can understand that we have an obligation to pay our employees for the services they provide. We ran the numbers and tried our best to work something out with you, but unfortunately it is not feasible. Thank you for your understanding.

      GDI Garage Doors installed a new garage door mechanism and charged me $1152.00 including tax. The opening device retails for just under $600. When I complained that they were charging me around $500 for an hour of labor which seemed unreasonably high, I was told that they installed other equipment with the opener. I asked for an itemized receipt which I did not receive when service was provided. They have not followed through on their commitment to provide an itemized receipt or explain why the labor charge was so unreasonably high.
