I did not hire, use, or ever go to contract with this company. On October 4th 2024 They sent me a certified letter stating "Notice to Lien" my property at ************************************************** I called the company thinking they had the wrong address, and they said they did work for the *** in that community and the just picked my address since it was close to the work they did and sent the Notice to lien to make sure they get paid by the ***. There was no work done, contracted, or anytime were they on my property. I want them to cease their unlawful practice of threatening me with a notice to lien for someone elses contract and work. I want them to reverse all steps taken against me and my trust feloniously. I want a letter from their company stating no action or liens will be threatened against my property for fictitious work never done on my property. Thank you **** A. ******* II

On 10/08/2024 the office already explained to this homeowner that the notice that was sent out was NOT a lien being filed against his property and that we have taken no legal action against this property. In the Notice of Right to Lien it clearly states that we were contracted by the *************************** not the Homeowner and no demand was made to the homeowner to pay this bill. The *************************** that works for the **** where this address is located, called us out to the address *************************** for an issue with the storm drains. The *** authorized us to proceed with the necessary work, then the *** requested a 3-4 month ***** period to pay the final balance of $1,400.00. The area where the storm drain is a *** Common Area space that sits between two parcels of property, which are owned by individual homeowners, but it does not have its own physical address as it is considered a Common Area that the *** is responsible for not the individual homeowners. The address listed on the Notice of Right to lien was provided by the *** and property management company, we did not just pick it out of a hat. Also, we have never sent demands for payment to this homeowner or acted unlawfully by threatening him, as the homeowner is NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE PAYMENT. Only the *** and property manager are responsible for paying this bill, as it states on the Notice where we were contracted by the ***************************. As there is still an open balance for the work we did, because the *** asked for a payment plan that went beyond 30 days, we sent out a Notice of right to lien notifying homeowners that we did work for their *** on this property. This is common practice for contractors when an open balance is beyond 30 days. A notice of right to lien does not file a lien on the individual homeowner's property and a Notice of INTENT to lien has NOT and WILL NOT been sent out. There is a big difference between a Notice of right to lien and a Notice of INTENT to lien, the Notice of INTENT starts the lien process whereas a Notice of Right to lien is just retaining a record of the work done on the property which allows us to proceed legally with the *** (NOT THE HOMEOWNER) should this not be paid.

I am rejecting this response because:

this explanation is total BS that the homeowners association provided just an address. Because the homeowners association doesnt have the name of my trust that the home is under which is listed on their notice to lien. So apparently they looked up my trust name and my physical address and applied that to the notice to lien, instead of issuing it to the homeowners association and their management address

    Customer Answer

The business stated that the ********************** sent them to the my address to do work. But clearly stated on the notice to lien was my trust name and information which was not provided by the **********************. Therefore, they intentionally looked up the property owner and listed it on their notice to Lien that they mailed me certified mail.

March 2024 l had Sin City *********************************************** replace: 2 hot water heaters, water softener, pot filler, lower level bath area sump pump. I have written them several times to get model numbers and manuals so I know how to maintain the equipment and warranty information. They have been promising since March and never follow thru. I was not left with any paperwork showing which models, etc were installed so have been unable to register the equipment for warranty. how do I get this information so I am covered in event of a product failure. most annoying that they no longer respond, it was a very expensive installation.

When the homeowner called asking for this information we explained that the model and serial number of the water heaters installed are located on a sticker on the front of the water heaters we installed. Physical manuals are no longer provided with water heaters, but if you go to the website for the manufacturer you can type in the model/serial number and then save a PDF copy of the manual for the water heater. This manual will have all the warranty information needed for the units we installed.

On 08-12-22 I had low water pressure at my home. I listened to my grandson as he said he had a company he new for the job. So we called Sin City Plumbing out to look at the issue. A Tech by the name of ***** showed up to look at the issue. After walking the house he asked to look at the electrical panel. Upon looking at the panel he mentioned that I most likely had faulty pipes. He Recommended that we try and turn up the pressure on the regulator, because it was most likely bad but he wanted to test it first by adjusting it. As soon as he touched it and adjusted the pressure too high it busted pipes underground causing me to have no water in my home and forced for a re pipe. Sin City Plumbing not only maliciously busted my pipes, so they could bid to re pipe my home. This left me without any water over the weekend until on Monday 08-15-22 I receive two bids totaling $26,350 to replace my main line and one to re pipe the interior of my home. I expressed that I wanted to contact my insurance and get second opinions. I was pressured into putting down a 50 percent deposit or I would not have an appt to repair. I paid the deposit of $13025. I was able to speak with my insurance and get second opinions for the repair job. We had spoken with **** at Sin City Plumbing and informed him that we were going to go with the other company because the my insurance was covering up to what the other company estimated. **** got upset because we wanted to use the other company, and we stated come down in price and we will let you have the job. On 08-23-22 **** came back with two new bids totaling ******. At this point we approved the job, and they began that same morning. Two days later after the job is 75 percent completed **** states that once opening walls that the cost is going up. They emailed us a new bid for $20,155 We told them that was not the price we agreed to and we were threated to have lien on my home if we didn't pay. I paid in full $20,155 on 11-10-22.
