    I am very disappointed in Allegiant Air, LLCX. their refund policies are not customer related. and extremely over priced. this boarders on price gouging.

    Allegiant failed to bring its paid passengers home on Flight 3133 from Knoxville after being delayed by weather. However, the plane flew back EMPTY at noon the following day with just the pilot and crew as was told to me by our pilot. Customer Service was nonexistent, and their website ‘bot’ asked for personal bank information which I entered but never submitted because it was becoming way too invasive.(I have screenshots that I can provide). Even after NOT submitting this info, I was hacked multiple times as a result.
    WE WERE LEFT TO EITHER SLEEP AT THE AIRPORT, OR TRY TO FIND A WAY TO GET TO A HOTEL THAT WAS NOT ALREADY BOOKED AND GET BACK TO THE AIRPORT THE FOLLOWING DAY, AS WE DID, TO PICK UP A RENTAL CAR TO DRIVE IN ICE AND SNOW ON SEMI-PLOWED ROADS TO ATLANTA. This trip was harrowing and dangerous. All told, it cost us approximately $1000 to get home for a flight that we had already paid for, but had not been transported.

    Last night I purchased an airline ticket, with no real issue. However, during checkout, I specifically unchecked the box for receiving emails about promotions, deals, etc. (as I do with every business I engage with). But then this morning, I receive an email from Allegiant, subject "You'll now receive the latest deals, offers and updates". So even though I specifically opted-out, I was still opted-in after the fact by Allegiant. I was able to follow the link in the email to manage preferences and unsubscribe from each marketing-type email list, but I am perturbed by this practice of opting-in users who have specifically opted-out.

    Sitting on the plane an hour past departure because collectively, there were not enough brain cells amongst the ground crew in TN to figure out how to get water on the plane in cold weather. Meanwhile, same airport, same conditions, ***** boarded and took off.

    I wish I could give this airline less stars and 1. terrible customer service. After buying a whole ticket for my dog and going through all the necessary steps given to me BY THE AIRLINE to ensure he gets on the plane, he is denied at the gate. I began to tell the women working for me that I had everything he needed to fly when I was very rudely cut off by a woman at a completely different counter. At first all she said was “NO” over and over again. I would try and talk to the other women to was helping me, but I couldn’t get one word out without the woman at the other booth screaming at me. I am a 17 year old girl with bad ptsd who gets support from her dog. Being screamed at and berated by this woman broke my heart and right there I broke down and being to sob uncontrollably, to which she just scoffed and rolled her eyes. There was only one sweet girl who was telling the flight attendant to just let me and my dog on, all the flight attendants argued for a bit, but she was quickly screamed at and told to shut up by the previous women who would t stop screaming no. I ended up calling my mother to get my dog as me boarding the flight was non-negotiable. I still hadn't stopped crying after getting through security and walking to my gate. As I was approaching a seat, still crying, one of the flight attendants from before came over and stopped me. She then proceeded to take me far away from the other passengers to a seat facing the wall stating that “the other passengers didn’t need to see me crying like this or they’ll get nosey.” It was clear to me that they just didn’t want people to know what I had just gone through with them. I still am upset when I think about this. How the flight attendants clearly took advantage over me and disregarded my feelings and existence is horrible and it sickens me. I will never be flying allegiant ever again. Plus the seats felt like cardboard and there was no legroom, and i’m 5ft tall so that’s insane.

    I fly Allegiant 50 plus times year. I am an Allegiant world card credit card holder.
    Print to this i have had nothing bag to say about Allegiant.
    I was a very loyal customer.
    I booked a flight and I accidentally chose returning on Saturday instead of Monday by accident right after I completed the booking I realized my error.
    I immediately called Allegiant to try to resolve the issue when I tried to cancel online, they were going to charge me More in a cancellation fee than what I paid for the ticket.
    I was on hold for over an hour and got a customer service representative that didn’t speak very good English but was not very helpful. I asked to speak to a supervisor and I was told I could not after trying to communicate a little bit longer with this non-English-speaking person Was then put through to a supervisor spoke very good English could understand him very clearly as he explained that they were not going to help me in anyway, I asked for his name because I’m gonna follow a small claim suit against them. He gave me his first name, would not give me his last name, and then hung up on. I own three businesses, if I had a customer like I am to Allegiant, or like I was to Allegiant and they were treated like this I would be deeply ashamed.
    I’ve heard a lot of other people talk bad about Allegiant and I always stuck up for them. I won’t anymore. As soon as I can find another airline, that covers the roots that I fly throughout the year, I will be finished with Allegiant altogether.

    My husband and I were flying to Cleveland from Sanford as we have many times. First we were told that we couldn't have the seats that we paid for because they gave our seats to someone else. Not sure what that was about but we sat where they told us to sit without complaint. Settled into our seats and snapped a quick photo of ourselves to send to my sister. We gave each other a quick innocent kiss for the photo which apparently offended the homophobic Allegiant employee because she immediately came to our seat and told us that w we had to leave the plane. We were told we were being thrown off the plane because we were "banging our bags around." We had a bag of popcorn in one hand and a phone in the other. When we questioned her ridiculous statement she threatened to call the air marshalls and "have us removed. " i cannot believe in 2024 we are still seeing this kind of ignorance. It is ignorant, hateful and very much illegal. Allegiant should remember that they are responsible for their employees actions.

    Worst airline ever! Don’t tell people “Arrive at the airport at least 2 hours early” if they can’t start checking people in 1:45 mins before hand and be welcomed by a line of +30 people. I have never seen such a poorly managed airline. They should not be in business.

    With Allegiant, I scheduled a work trip from Lafayette, IN to Los Angeles around November of 2023. But when we had family incident, I had to rush home and did not make the flight I had bought Allegiant. I also purchased travel insurance with the trip through a third party. So I should've been able to get a refund. Nevertheless, It's months later and I can't get a hold of anyone with a straight answer on sending me a "NO SHOW." They have all told me that I would receive an email within 2 weeks, but months later, nothing. All I needed was a letter approved by the airline stating that I didn't make the flight. (Why is that so hard, who knows...) so I can send to my insurance for a refund. This experience along with the passing of a family member has really made the end of the year very struggling. Any response from the airline at this point is truly an insult on this forum as they showed their true colors as being a fraud, disrespecting, and worthless company. ( I wish I cold post without a star)

    While Allegiant offers a lot of lower cost flights, beware of the frustration factor before & after the flight if you need to check baggage. No self check-in process for bags leaves you waiting in hour long lines to check your bag at the ticket counter. And I have never been able to collect my luggage in less than an hour after the flight. I can deal with the other things ... but the baggage check/claim is unreasonable.
