      I rented two cars from Diplomat Exotic Car Rentals for March 17, 2023. I paid the full amount for both cars in advance to ensure that the cars would be available on that date. On March 15, 2023, an employee of the business named **** texted me to let me know that one of the cars was no longer available. I chose another car and it turned out to be less expensive than my original choice. **** confirmed verbally and in writing that my **** card would be credited for the difference which was $359.93. I checked my credit card transactions 12 days later and there was still no credit from Diplomat Exotic Car Rentals. I contacted **** to express my concern and he explained that it sometimes takes a few days for the credit to appear in customer's accounts. He committed to email me a confirmation notice once the credit was successfully applied but I never heard from him again. When no credit arrived two weeks later, I followed up by phone, text and email but **** and the Diplomat team remained non-responsive. In addition, Diplomat lists **************** as its business address but no one at their front desk is aware of any Diplomat Exotic Car Rental operating at that location. I have email, text and credit card documentation for everything that I have described above. This business seems to believe that it can take money from its customers without consequence and I would like to know if the Better Business Bureau has any authority to motivate this company to resolve this issue in a fair and equitable manner.
