Our VP of sales contacted Fortem and eventually spoke with ***************************, Fortem's CRO. ***** coached her through signing a docusign document, claiming this document acts as a quote and simply secures a spot at one of their trade shows "Disaster Expo". Our VP told ***** that she does not have authority to sign a contract. ***** said its fine, well get your CEOs signature after you have a chance to review with him but ***** insisted she click the sign button. She did click the sign button and the file immediately closed. ***** had her sign this doc under false pretenses because during the following days and weeks our VP received invoices from Fortem asking for full payment. Furthermore, Fortem stated that cancellations within 3 months require a 100% payment. Our VP repeatedly replied via email stating that we did not intend to sign a contract and were misled that she was not signing a contract. She even attempted numerous con calls and virtual meeting with Fortem employees but no one would answer her calls and no one would join the meetings. Now Fortem claims they will pass on our case to a collection agency.Clearly this is a case of misrepresentation by Fortem and a deceptive act by Fortem's CRO *************************** .For Fortem, they have this reputation. A quick web search revealed how they repeatedly scam companies.********************************************************************************************************** ******************************************************************************************* Stay away from Fortem.

I reached out to them for an event to promote my product and the way they promoted it was misleading. A month prior to the event we received a notification that we would be limited on selling our products. They notified me once they knew I couldn't cancel after third payment was submitted and received. After numerous attempts to cancel for reimbursement they refused and kept complaining that they were within contract. They refused to accept accountability for misrepresenting their event. They never advised us before that noticed received a month before the event that we would not be able to sell our products. We're a startup, small company that it trying to get promote and get our product known. We don't appreciate a company taking advantage of that fact. We had sent product samples and everything prior to event and they knew what our product was. The fact that we received that notice a month before event would have hurt our company. They did nothing to try and help s to come to an agreement. They even tried collecting last payment after refusing to reimburse us. We would like a reimbursement as soon as possible.
