      I had 2 appointments with this office: 06/29/23 and 08/21/23.On 06/29/23 I had a procedure done in-office and scheduled a follow up appt for 8/21/23. On 8/17/23 I made 3 phone calls to this office to cancel the appointment - 11:22 a.m, 11:23 a.m, and 12:24 p.m. In each instance, their idiotic incompetent front office staff kept placing me on terminal hold never picking the phone back up again. On 08/18/2023 at 8:37 a.m. I called again and this time requested to speak with their front office manager. I discussed two (2) things:- that I was canceling my upcoming appointment on 08/21/23 because the first procedure seemed to take care of the original issue that I came in for.- that if a follow up was needed I would seek out another dermatologist and continued to deliver a heavy complaint to the front office manager about the sheer incompetence happening with the front office staff. She apologized, said that she would address the issues with handling the calls with the employees and confirmed cancellation fo the appointment. A month and a half later, I get a bill from these idiots with a charge for a no-show dated 08/21/2023 and a charge for a balance of $43.88 for the original visit. Now, I will double check with insurance to confirm because if there were a copay then it should have been collected at the time of the visit but that wouldn't surprise me either given the lack of attention that this office delivers to the patient.I have emailed ************************************************************ and attached a copy of the phone records which clearly supports the calls that were made to the office to cancel the appointment. I expect this $100 fee to be removed and the balance will be subject to a review with my insurance.It is truly a shame that this is the unfortunate result and the current reality with medical organizations. The underlying reason why I canceled was to avoid dealing with the idiocy from their front office. And this erroneous bill proves it.
