Caballeros Electric installed a solar panel system for me without conducting a proper assessment of my actual energy consumption needs. They only based the system size on the previous homeowners energy usage. As a result, I am now paying for both the solar panel financing and additional energy costs that my solar system does not cover. This has caused significant financial and emotional stress. The total cost of the system is $71,697.42, with a monthly financed payment of $305.46. Additionally, my average ********* monthly bill is $150, making the financial burden even greater. I have filed complaints with the company, but they have not provided a satisfactory response to my concerns.Business Response

We have spoken with this customer in 5 different occassions. The last one being in person at the office with the owner of the company.
When a house does not have history of consumption like in his case only had a couple of weeks living in it, and he did not have anything planned to be added that could potentially increase the consumption, then the production or offset is calculated based on previous data. This is explicit in our contract and he signed it, it says it as this: The estimated production or offset is based on available data on prior consumption.
Additionally, customer had agreed to cut down a tree prior to installation that would shade about 6-8 panels and a few months later after installation, our tech went out to check on the system and make sure everything was working fine, the tree was not cut down.
This was clearly explained to the customer in several ocassions.

Hello,
As explained previously, estimated offset is calculated based on prior energy history. Customer did not inform us of any new additions that would increase his consumption and he confirmed this during our last in person meeting.
Regarding the letter. We only received one that somebody dropped off at our office. This letter was sent to us after we met 5 different times. First 2 times was in person at his house to troubleshoot system and our technicians explained to him. Third time was over the phone with one of our managers which he explained to him the same. 4th time was with me (business owner) over the phone which I explained to him the same situation after reviewing all paperwork. Last time was an in person meeting about 3-5 days after the 4th phone call, from which we met for about 1 hour or so at my office, we explained to him how everything works step by step. We provided him with all physical copies of contract, proposal, designs, permits, approved inspections, etc. We even called NVenergy to confirm history of consumption from February 2023 - February 2024 which it is 1 year prior to him moving into the house and 1 year prior of the date we built his Solar proposal.
Therefore, after speaking to him in 5 different occasions, including an in person meeting where we spoke more in details, we did not find the need to respond to him again about the same situation because on the letter we received, he asked the same questions and same information we discussed in all 5 different instances. At this point we feel the customer is just playing with us and trying to get something for free and he is just not understanding.Business Response

The first person that came to install my batteries for my solar panels left for the day with out telling anyone leaving my garage door wide open and the tools all out in front. The supervisor came back later that day and said he would finish the job up the next day. My roommate waited for him and he then said there was too much work to be done and he would have to come back the next day. That was almost a week ago. My roommate canceled his plans and waited all day without anyone showing up, calling or even sending a text. I have tried to call repeatedly and get disconnected immediately as if they have blocked my number. They have not responded to text messages either. They also stuck me with the bill for having the power disconnected which is a $420 bill and they said oh, please send us that and we will reimburse you. They never have. I am talking with Sunnova the company that contracted them currently about a resolution and will be consulting with a lawyer next as there are open panels that *** or *** not be dangerous to touch and I have no idea weather my panels are working as I can see things are not connected and when I check online I only see estimated level since they started their work.I strongly encourage everyone to avoid this company at all costs.Business Response
