    Avoid!! Valyou furniture takes your money and does not ship furniture! After long wait I asked for refund and received answer to file a dispute with my credit card company. Credit card company refused since over 90 days since purchase.

    They stole 4k from me. Ordered a couch a year ago. Told them I wanted a refund since they could not send the couch and they refuse to give me my money back. Stay far away

    I've waited six months for furniture I'm sure will never arrive. I purchased a sofa w/ottomans, which cost me ~$5k on 7/1/22. I began my queries about shipping and delivery 7/22/22 when I hadn't received any shipping confirmation. I was told 8/10/22, then there would be a delay until the end of 9/22, then a delay until the third week of 11/22, and another delay until after 1/9/23. On 1/9/23 I attempted to check on my order via the store website. Imagine my utter surprise to fine my account to be non-existent. worried now, I emailed this company again, and when I didn't receive an answer I called the numbers provided...no answer, they say to text for faster response...no answer. I called again, after several hours I was able to contact someone in customer service. I was told my order STILL was not ready, maybe by the end of 1/2023. I sent another email to cancel my order and I've asked them for a refund. As of this morning, the day after the refund request email, I've received no answer. I'm beyond disappointed, but I really should've done better research of this company.

    I received an email apologizing for "The unsatisfactory experience ". They informed me that they do not ship to my location. They admitted this information should've been related to me earlier. I'm astonished that in six months and all of the MANY emails and correspondence, that I'm just now being informed they don't ship to my location. Unsatisfactory is a colossal understatement.

    I'd just like to start by saying I have never written a review before. Do not under any circumstances order from this company.

    This has been the worst experience I've bad buying furniture. I ordered a sectional from Valyou Furniture Dec. 18, 2021. To this date Dec. 20, 2022 (A YEAR LATER) I only have half of the sectional. The delivery date I was first given was Jan '22.

    My order shipped April '22.. when I received it one of the pieces was incorrect. So, I had to go through the trouble of hauling the piece back downstairs, repackaging it and arrange for it to be picked up and exchanged. Obviously, I still have not received the replacement piece.

    They will not refund me as they "only provide store credit".. what am I going to purchase with said credit if they have nothing in stock??? The half of the sectional I do have is near useless.

    I've been requesting a phone call for a week and no one will speak with me. Going into another holiday season without a sectional I paid for a year ago is absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable.

    •Placed an order for a feathers sofa in July 2022, it was listed as in stock. Paid $2,900 and was charged in full. Estimated delivery said Aug 26 on the order confirmation.
    •sent an email in Sept asking for an update, was told on Sept 15 that the item wouldn’t be in the warehouse until Nov 23. I said fine, no problem. I get it, supply chain issues etc.
    •Nov came and went, no update on the sofa. I reached out in December repeatedly to no reply. It was not until I DM’d the IG account that anyone replied to me.
    •I was told “we still don't have a delivery date for your order. It will probably take a few more weeks but I can't provide an exact day at the moment.”
    •At this point I had been reading reviews and starting to have doubts. I asked that they cancel the order and refund ASAP to the original form of payment (credit card). And was told they cannot refund (??? ***).
    •Was told, “Our payment gateway isn't allowing us to process refunds. We are asking that you file a dispute with your credit card company or bank. This can be filed as "Product Not Received" or "Credit Not Processed".”
    •Absolutely ridiculous that I have paid almost $3k for a sofa that has never arrived, and they are refusing to issue a refund. I firmly do not believe that filing a dispute is the answer here, the company must refund. It is not the bank’s responsibility. Looks like this is happening to many people.
    •This company is STILL sending marketing emails and advertising on Instagram, when they have not been able to fill what looks like hundreds of other orders. AND apparently not “able” to refund.
    •Sounds like theft to me

    Do not order from this company. It is a scam. Spend your money at a more reputable company. The discount is not worth the headache you will get from being strung along for months. We ordered two chairs in November 2021. It is now December 2022. The gave us two false delivery dates and then kept telling us to check back in a month to see if our item is in stock. Who does that? How is that even legal? This went on from November 2021 - October 2022... we really wanted those chairs. Finally we asked for a refund but they claimed to only give store credit. We badgered them for a refund and they agreed to send a check. It never came so we have reported them to our credit card company and are getting our refund that way. I have never had such a terrible experience with a company or those representing it. Based on the terrible reviews on the site I am confused how it is still operating. The Chairs that were never in stock for us were always available to be ordered on their during the whole time they were telling us they were having covid era delivery issues.

    Placed my ordered on 10/31. Received an email from Tad stating something about extra space on the pallet as if my order was shipping as indicated 11/28. I added an ottoman since they offered a discount. On 11/1, I changed my mind and switch to a sectional which required a refund of $297. I received an email from Valyou stating that my account would be refunded on 11/3. 11/23, I contacted them because I still hadn’t received a refund, I also checked on the status and they stated it was now being delivered in January. I still haven’t received a refund and now they have closed my account and I’m no longer able to log in. The URL from my order is now invalid. I have texted and called them several times with no response. When I attempt to reset my password, the site states that my email is invalid (which is not true). I use the shop app and that app states my full order has been cancelled and refunded. Well I have not received an email and they refuse to respond. I decided to just file a dispute against this company. If you are considering wasting your money and time for furniture, this is the place to go. Stay away from this company and buy from another source.

    STEER C:LEAR! Ordered a sectional in August which they of course promptly took payment for. From that point on, it's been a nightmare. No clear delivery date, no one to speak with. Finally this morning I reached out again and was told "we need to check on inventory and see if we have transportation available" Um...it's been 5 months. I understand supply chain issues, but no communication is unprofessional. I asked them to cancel and refund. They then told me they can no longer refund because they don't deal with my credit card company. Um...you took the payment from VISA. You're telling me you can't process a refund?? I promptly got a cancellation email which advised me to dispute the charge with my credit card company.
    Horrible business practice!!

    DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY! Placed order in July with an Aug delivery date. Called for updates and got different excuses from different representatives for the delay. Red flag! I called to cancel the order, they said they would only give me a store credit per their refund policy. (They clearly don't know their own policies.) I fought that. After an hour of being placed on hold and returning to the conversation with yet another alternative to a refund, I was finally told that the order was cancelled, and I would see a refund on my original payment form in 7-14 days. Unsurprisingly that refund never came. I again reached out to Valyou and was told a refund was attempted but it did not go through, and they would have to investigate the matter. I was told to contact my bank and dispute the charge because an investigation on their end would take quite a while. This company has clearly mismanaged their finances and has resorted to stealing their customer's money. BAD BAD BUSINESS. GET THE WORD OUT, DO NOT BUY FROM THESE THIEVES!

    They do not pay their bills!
    They use and abuse, steal and lie, no reply, provide unprofessional excuses for month after a month, run around, instead of being on top of the issues and opayments.
