    Awful company. They lied about when my couch would be shipped and delivered. When I followed up about my order and why it hadn't arrived (and why I didn't receive any update whatsoever) I was ignored. Like literally hung up on.

    I looked online and discovered a bunch of reviews online saying Valyou is a scammy company and I immediately felt uneasy about my purchase with them. I didn't even want the couch at this point, and I didn't want to be associated with such a shady company. After EXPLICITLY asking for a refund via email because I didn't receive my item, this is the response I got:

    "I can see that your order is already allocated, we are just now waiting for the logistics to ship your order. Rest assured that you will receive an update with the tracking details."

    Like, really? No acknowledgment AT ALL that I just asked for my money back. Basically gave me no choice but to do a charge back.

    A few days later I get a call from my local port office that they have a couch for me. Honestly it's hilarious, I was CLEARLY told I would be notified when they shipped, so I could track my order status, but I wasn't.

    Long story short, I basically had to hound them and make a Karen of myself to get them to actually ship. Ridiculous. The couch is cute but i will never ever order from this sh*tty business again.

    WHERE IS MY ORDER? WHY IS CUSTOMER SERVICE GHOSTING ME?

    I ordered a couch (and PAID FOR IT) in MAY 2002. I still haven't received it. I was told it was on backorder, so I changed my order to a different couch that "was in stock" and was told it would be delivered in 1-3 weeks. Still nothing. And now the chat feature of customer service is ghosting me. Customer service phone # either drops or just tells you to text them.

    STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. My only option left is to wait for a showroom to open and try calling them because I'm at my wit's end.

    STAY FAR FAR WAY FROM THIS PLACE!! Placed my order in May 2022, still haven't received my ordered and its November 2022. I have contacted them multiple times requesting a refund and they said they would send me a check in "45 days." Of course I've never received it, this place is a complete SCAM! DO NOT BUY!

    i've been trying to speak to a representative at least through phone to find out what's going on with my furniture. i was given a delivery date/time some weeks ago. i called off work to receive it and it was cancelled an hour before the timeframe. i ended up finding out it was somewhere in chicago (i live in **************). i placed this order around june and now it's mid-november. when i text, they keep mentioning delays and when i ask to call with someone to speak about it, it gets brushed aside. at the beginning of november, i was told to wait til nov. 11th to find out the status. there was no contact nov 11th. i've been juggling text messaging different representatives. i'm just extremely frustrated. i got one last message finally nov 13th, that they're still working on it as well as delays. at this point, i'll go along with their process. however, i'd still like to voice myself and give feedback since that's the only thing i can do for myself. i hope the company can figure out their distribution system and tackle the customers in difficult situations. hope to get my furniture soon!

    Stay far from this company!!!! We ordered a couch from them in September and it still hasnt arrived. Now theyre saying end of December. We requested a cancellation and refund and they said they only give store credit. But their website says otherwise. Trying to force us into using their company and withholding proper refund to our card. Thousands have claims out against this company. Terrible business and service. Shady as can be.     A total waste of time, money, and effort for the last 4 months. Ordered a couch via a service rep who sent me an invoice with a specific delivery date - past the farcical order date listed on the site at the time - only to have to reach out on my own the week of to receive confirmation. As you can probably guess my order got pushed back month after month. I never received an update and had to email, text, and call only to be told I was being placed on priority , offered store credit, and the kicker - to join their rewards program in lieu of refunding my money they had already taken for products they seemingly dont even have. I was told their merchant is not set up to complete refunds to original forms of payment so I saved myself the trouble of responding and cancelled with my credit card company. Save yourself the headache and buy from a company that will actually send you the furniture you pay full price for.

    This company is the worst company I have ever purchased anything from. They take your money, send you a confirmation with an estimated delivery date and then ghost you. *** had to reach out to their team on numerous occasions to find out about the status of my order. I receive daily/weekly sales emails from them and yet they cant tell you anything about the money youve spent with them. It is now 6 months since I ordered my couch and yet I dont have my couch. I dont even believe they make furniture anymore. *** asked for my order to be cancelled and now they are trying to tell me that they wont give me my money back - just store credit. Where in the world do they think it is ok to take my money, not deliver the product, not communicate with me at all, and then not give me my money back. Save yourself the time, energy, and money and purchase literally anywhere else. The discount isnt worth it.

    Placed an order on May 15, 2022 for the Harbor Sideboard- black. I was given an estimated delivery of August 15, 2022. Since August 15 I have been given two more ETAs that have all been false (last one I was told was September 26). It is now November 2, 2022. Each time I reach out for an update, I am told that they have zero clue as to when I will receive the sideboard. Valyou took my payment in May when I placed the order. It is very frustrating to be over two months out from the delivery date and it is extra frustrating to actually have no delivery date in sight. I dont understand how a business can operate not knowing when they will fulfill customer orders. 6 months and counting waiting for a sideboard is just ridiculous.
