Would not fixed things that are covered under the plan I purchased. They never wanted to fixed the plumbing in my front yard. They sent out at least four and it still
Didn’t get fixed. I paid our garner $1500.00 to stop the water in the front yard from flooding. The last plumber they sent told us they could put a special camera to see if the under pipes are rusted out or broken from the large roots. That would be $400.00 just to see what’s wrong. My washer machine stop working they came out said nothing was wrong just needs to be tighten. Worked 2 times I had to wait 2 months for them to tell me they could get me a washer of there choosing not mine. Or $340.000 toward me getting a new one. I’m still waiting for a check
In the mail. Get this one the only plumbing under warranty was the kitchen not the bathrooms. Our garage door springs broke we paid for it to
Get fixed. $1,700.00 for the door and $700.00 for the garage door opener. A year later as we got home there was a loud noise the garage broke in half with my car in the garage. Did they fix it no
Wear and tear plus we weren’t maintaining the garage door after we had fix the springs. That’s their answer for everything thing. We buy home warranty you fill
At ease knowing that you’re covered. I’m
Only doing this they are falsely saying they a 8 star rating. I would give them a big 0. Plus you will be at least a hour or more to try to understand what they are saying. The last time I called I ask
The girl to please speak clearing and slow because I could not understand what she was saying. She would start laughing. If you buy home club warranty be prepared. Aspirin, kinda realizes, and a stiff drink.

One star is being way to generous. Read through the other reviews and I promise you all those reviews are true I experienced all those problems on two separate occasions One was completely denied ($1200). The second was for $2098.00 they offered me ($150.00). Come to find out most technicians won’t do business with them so buyer be ware always check the reviews. Lesson learned the hard way.

The first time I used them after paying for a 2nd year was to fix my Dishwasher. HSC sends Sears to fix it, they fix it. The total cost was about $300.00. Soon after I got two bills from Sears for two different amount for the same job. After multiple calls to HSC and the Rep promising to take care of it, all lies. Multiple emails to Sears billing they finally tell me HSC isn't paying the bill then leaving to the customer to pay with no recourse for resolution. I'm still getting the bills and I've been sent to collections. My credit is very good. This company is a scam. I've paid them the money and received nothing for the service promised. I've actually been harmed financially with being sent to collections. I paid to get sent to collections.

Kirwood S. I purchased membership with Home Service Club on 6/8/2022. I paid in advance for the 5 year plan which gave me am extra 6 months of coverage. On July 10, 2022 my furnace fan went out so my A/C wasn't able to blow any cold air into the house. Coverage took effect on 7/8/2022. I called on a Monday and they said I would receive an email within 24 hours giving me the name on the service provider. It never came and I called and was told the same thing everyday. Finally on Thursday I finally talked to a person in claims (that could speak good English) and was told it would be 7 to 10 days and I would hear because they didn't have a service provider in my area. I was told I I could file a reimbursement request meaning I could call a professional and submit his findings with pictures and I would hear from them with their solution. The professional told me that I needed a new furnace and the cost would be $4279.00. Two days later I was sent a denial letter stating that they weren't covering it because it was an existing condition but I would be assigned a special claims person with a direct phone number. I asked how they knew it was a preexisting condition when they never sent anyone out to look at it. She offered me $400.00 out of the goodness or her heart to settle. I told her that was not acceptable and I wanted a full refund and she said they would do that but I had to pay for the first months coverage and a cancellation fee of 40 dollars. After some forceful conversation they agreed to waive the cancellation fee and only would charge me the 36 dollars for one months coverage. I accepted since it wasn't worth fighting for 36 dollars. As a footnote to Hume Service Club the claims people I talked to spoke very poor English and were NOT HELPFUL AT ALL. Also the Trust Pilot awards they received are in my opinion not worth the rating since Trust Pilot is located in Denmark. So Buyer be ware. This is a horrible company to deal with. They are not worth one star.

You will only be disappointed. The purpose of this company is to collect your money not to provide service or honor warranties. Service calls scheduled through them take much longer to fulfill than if you called and placed a service call yourself. To get a warranty claim paid, you have to have a diagnosis provided by a service technician of their choosing. For a service technician to provide a diagnosis, they must wait on hold 30 minutes or longer. Our last service technician gave up waiting and said that he would upload the diagnosis online later that night. I then spent three weeks trying to get HSC to accept that diagnosis, and finally gave up and cancelled my membership. Also, read the fine print the maximum cap on all their warranties is roughly 50% of what you would pay, so at best, their warranties only cover 50% of the cost of replacing the appliance or covered item.

This is a horrible company. We are having a problem with this Company, I called Home Service Club (HSC) because my refrigerator was having problem like the water leakage and my frozen food getting defrosted.

The Home Service Club scheduled an appointment with Sears service Technician to visit our home on June 3rd, 2022,
Technician came after 6.00pm and he fixed the water leakage problem.
Few days later we noticed that my refrigerator is still not freeze our frozen foods (Still not working). My meat and other frozen items got spoiled.
We called Home Service club back on June 11th, 2022 but got disconnected.
We called back on June14th 2022 at 7.07 pm got the voice mail saying call back at normal businesses hours.
On June 15th, I called back the HSC 's Customer care representative who took all the information and said they will get back to us via e-mail within 24 hours.
We waited for 24hrs and did not get any e-mail, so we called them back again on June16th, and the Customer Service representative told us to call Sears directly. We told him that this does not sound right, but he said that now it's not their responsibility, and said that we should call Sears factory repair and the Rep also told us that the Home Service Club has to generate the claim, When we spoke to Sears, they told us that they cannot sent their service technician until requested by HSC, and if they do we have to pay for the service cost.
We called back Home Service Club at 3.28pm again on June 16th.2022 and the representative scheduled the appointment for the Sears Tech to visit our home on July 1st ,2022 between 1.00pm - 5.00pm. Sears Technician came and said that our refrigerator cannot be repaired.
I am still waiting it July 19,2022. No star. Don't deal with HSC.
