Employees and the owner has no respect for customers!!!! We know that every business is there to make money. But this business takes advantage of the current need of the people. Buying gold and paying at more than 40% less of its value. That should not be allowed, but unfortunately it is. Furthermore, the service is terrible. They treat customers badly. In my case I only asked the owner who did the valuation for me, why he was paying me $36.00 per gram of gold if its current price was $61.00, that is 40% less than the value. He gave me an illogical answer and told me to leave. This person treats customers badly! I'm not the first to complain. Also treating spanish speaking customer bad. This business practically rips off customers. They said they are the best, and has a lot of traffic. But is because their marketing and advertising. With all the money they rip off from their customers, they can spend in advertising their business. But they are far to be the best or pay the best prices. Just by going down the same street customers can find another business as same as them, with a better service and paying 30% more than what they pay. Don't take my word, just don't sale it to them and go somewhere else and see it yourself.

In responses to the replay made by the owner of this business. This person is not professional at all, he has no idea about the respect that should be shown to a client! I was his client. Now alleges that I am a friend or family member of his competition. That is not true. I went to his business, bring three pieces of fine jewelry and a coin. I have knowledge in jewelry, he has no idea or rather he plays dumb with a collector's coin. If he is going to buy collector coins, he should pay it at the right price. I know this is a business, I know it has to make money, but it's one thing to make a profit and another to scam. Also he wants to paid me at 35% less of the value of the price of gold for a gold piece! When I mention that he pays less than 30% than other stores, it is because after going to other places, that was the difference in price compared to what he offered me. I gave it a review on **** and ******. There I explained costs and equations how someone can know the cost of their Jewlery and weight in gold. I know this because I have knowledge, not because I own a jewlery business or sale and purchase gold. I said on my comment: Go, but don't sell, because they will scam you. You can go to another place around, there are three or four and you will see for yourself. The owner of this business responded by insulting me, calling me an idiot!! The reviews with their insults are there!! I just was not happy with his offer!! And because of that he's calling me Idiot. Is that the way to treat a customer? I am a person who works in the media in Argentina. My participations are in more than 25 social networks included ******* and more than 500 pages. So, I will talk about how bad is this business and how badly it treats Hispanics. There are also complaints of racism on **** and ******. Anyone who travels or is in Las Vegas will know what kind of people run that place. Then he will realize that it is not your competition. He just try to scam the wrong person.

Either you went to the wrong store (NV Coin down the street), or you are an obvious troll sent over by them.   We have 4 Hispanic employees here.  We are in no way racist to Hispanics, and so that nullifies your point.

I'm okay with an honest review from a customer that actually came to our store, but this is a fake or erroneous review.   There is no way we paid less than NV Coin, the business you are promoting in your original review.  We get their customers all the time, and they tell us we pay double what they pay.

We do NOT ripoff people, and in fact pay more than most, if not all our competitors.  You resorting to threats to use your social network doesn't scare us.  We've dealt with trolls from NV Coin before, and we will continue to do the same.

You threatening us doesn't make your review more legitimate.

Got a second opinion on gold coins that had been in the family for a long time. I'm glad I did. Neil gave me $280 more than the guy up the street and gave me the straight scoop on a commemorative coin that the competitors told me was not 1oz gold. It was. I was in and out in 20 minutes and felt very comfortable doing business there. Get a 2nd opinion but, make sure that Nevada Coin Mart is one of them.

This was my first visit to Nevada Coin Mart and I was treated very fairly. I had done a little research prior to my visit so I knew what the approximate value of my items were. The appraiser and Neil were very upfront about the process and quoted me at the upper end of the valuation that I had anticipated. There was no need for me to continue looking for a higher payout on my items as I felt Neil's offer was very fair. I was also paid an additional $20 for a coupon that I used during the transaction. Great business that I will highly recommend to friends and family!

Thank you so much for the kind words.  It's because of awesome customers like you, that we've been able to serve the Las Vegas Valley area for so long.   I hope to see you again soon.

Waste of time , emailed pics and appraisals on estate jeweler was contacted quick was they were interested. I asked for a ball park offer and was told they had to see the jeweler. I told them I was not wanting to waste my time or there’s for a low ball offer. I was assured they were very interested and would not low ball. I bring down the pieces with appraisals of over 35,300 and was offered 5,000 . If that’s not a low ball I don’t know what is. Took my things and went home. I mean I understand needing to make money but who in there minds would sell and lose over 35,000. Good thing I’m not desperate! What a complete waste of time.

I would give them 0 stars if possible. I asked about selling US Mint Silver Proof sets from 2008 through 2016. and was quoted $11.00 each. Considering the sets are selling on ****** for between $59.95 for the 2010 set and $280.00 for the 2012 set I found the offer offensive. Also, ***********.com shows the sets value at $76 (2008) to $280 (2012). Based on the offer I received I would NEVER deal them.

Customer's claims of "selling on ******", relate to RETAIL Value.   This is completely different than RESELL value.   A better gauge of market pricing for RESELL is ****, where a 2010 set just sold for $38 on July 27, and $15 for 2010 & 2011 on July 27.

When we make an offer, it is below what the RESELL value is, so that we can make a profit, taking into account labor, storage, and delivery.

We always tell customers, if they want to go through the effort to sell them themselves online, they can get closer to RETAIL value, but on our end, we cannot buy a product unless we are sure we will not lose money on it, when we RESELL it.

I believe Nevada Coin Mart is the best place in Las Vegas to sell all or part of your coin collection. Neil was very fair and honest about pricing. Although you may not receive exactly how much you want, he will make every effort to come as close as he can. I was treated with respect and courtesy from the minute I walked into the store. Neil and his staff do not insult your intelligence during your transaction. I was happy with my dealings with NCM.
