  I am a current client. My name is Jeff ******. I have a pending disability claim and everytime for the last 4 months I call the receptionist for help regarding an issue I need answers. Not once when they say somebody will call you back. I have not received a call back and finally yesterday the 3rd time regarding a different issue I do get a call back and I tell the women It took you long enough after an entire week went by and she says with a total attitude well Jeff I finally did call you so I tell her the issue and she says you need to call legal aid we can't help even though on their website it clearly says they take workforce harassment but she says we can't help you and tell me to call legal aid of nevada and I didn't have a pen on me so so she says I can text you the number and ends the call . Did I get a text. Of course not. These employees and receptionists are a total disgrace and absolutely unprofessional

  It’s hard to gather words for a simple review for this team that convey the level of gratitude I have for them. I was lost, and even signed on with another firm that I received very little to no attention from. I found Shook and Stone through the grapevine of my research, and within 24 hours of reaching out, I was given a one-on-one video consultation with Shelby Castro, breaking down how they do things. (No matter who you go with, have a consultation first! S&S taught me that by their prompt action)
  Raine Levinson outdid herself with dedication and patience to my case. I had a slip and fall at a restaurant I devoted 7 years to, I got shorted thousands of dollars by workmen’s comp of Nevada, no blame on my restaurant manager, but they didn’t fill out the workmen’s comp paperwork correctly. Raine went through every single document and paper check stub of myn (1yr to date back) and got me not only every single penny I deserved (before the case was closed) but also encouraged me to log EVERY mile spent on trips to appointments to get mileage checks, and oh boy did that pay off.
  I was patient with Raine, and she was patient with me while I asked and re-asked some of the same questions in order to understand. (My first time dealing with an attorney) She was extremely helpful and there for me with every question I had. She would even call me to make sure I understood what came/was coming my way and to double check certain paperwork. I am happy with my settlement.
  My injury was a slice to the palm of my hand; slicing my thumb flexor tendon and both of the nerves to my thumb. Surgery was done and then occupational therapy followed.
  Thank you Shook and Stone. And Raine, no words can convey the gratitude. You changed my life, for the better. I will never forget your efforts. Thank you indefinitely.

  Writing this review is difficult and disheartening, but I feel compelled to share my experience with Shook and Stone Law Firm. From the outset, they failed to listen to my concerns and prioritize my needs as a client.
  I expressed my dissatisfaction and intention to seek representation elsewhere due to the lack of progress on my case. Despite my reservations, my attorney assured me that they only needed a few more months to complete my case. However, this promise turned out to be nothing but empty words.
  Instead of resolving my case within the promised timeframe, Shook and Stone Law Firm sent me an offer to close my case. Naively, I signed off on the offer, believing that the end was finally in sight. Little did I know that this would mark the beginning of an unnecessary and prolonged delay.
  Despite my repeated requests to close the case, my attorney chose to ignore me, prolonging my ordeal and exacerbating my frustration. This blatant disregard for my wishes and the agreed-upon timeline reflects poorly on the professionalism and integrity of the firm.
  To add insult to injury, when I raised concerns about the extended wait time and requested a reduction in their fee, Shook and Stone Law Firm displayed a shocking lack of empathy and understanding.
  In conclusion, my experience with Shook and Stone Law Firm has been characterized by indifference, and a complete lack of accountability. I would strongly advise anyone seeking legal representation to steer clear of this firm, as they have proven themselves to be unreliable and unsympathetic to the needs of their clients.

  Again I'm leaving a review. Shook&Stone took my case in 2019 at the beginning of the pandemic. From the start I was jerked around from case worker to case worker. 5 in all one was fired. I would call the office and they said we will call you back. Always had to call them. I did most of the leg work myself. X-rays fax paper work call SSI. They did very little for me. They are not honest. I talked to S&S SS manager in March of 2023 named James and he told me that my balance is zero because they received a payment of 1,800. Now SS is saying that they over paid me 4,000 that they didn't take out for lawyer. I called them and told them that James told me my bill was paid balance 0. Now SS has kept this months check for overpayment and will keep them until April. I would not recommend S&S to anyone they we're the worst law firm I've ever dealt with. Because of their lies I have no money to pay my rent and bills and am being evicted. Now James SS manager for S&S does not work there anymore after 10yrs. So I can't even confront him. I'm disabled and my monthly check doesn't even cover rent. Needless to say I'm very discussded in S&S. Beware of shady Lawyers. Carol ******

  They totally screwed me on my disability claim. Never use this firm. They don’t update you on your case. Poor handling terrible care and they failed me. Now I’m homeless with no income.

  This client was advised on March 1st, 2012, that we (Shook & Stone) will be withdrawing as his representatives in his claim for Social Security Disability. We informed Mr. ***** we would be waiving our right to any fees or costs relative to this manner. The reason for the withdraw was due to Mr. ***** relocating to another state. Mr. ***** relocated to Sioux City, IA.

  Don't waste your time. They will demean you and with less than 10 questions determine that you aren't worth helping. Just as bad as any outsourced "help desk".

  absolutely horrible. I had to get my family attorney involved and are planning to sue. they settled without my knowledge...no updates. I didn't even speak or know the name of the actual lawyer on my case until I raised my concern. they handled it by putting a Lein on me.
