    This is a horrible company- somehow I got on the monthly subscription and was charged 2 months in a row @ 39.99 per month- Never used the product and had no idea I was signed up for it-

    I signed up for a membership and started using the app. I woke to charges on my card I was not made aware of. I reached out to them for a refund and they said no. They are basically charging you to use the their features in the APP without asking you first would like to pay go use it. I will be disputing the charges with my bank. Please be aware?? You WILL be charges to use all their features in the app without them letting you know.

    I just got $15 subscription and they charged me extra $19 and then $59 monthly subscription. I cancelled it asap and they didn’t give me refund of the $19 . I don’t trust them . They might charge me $59 again after canceling the subscription.

    Unimeal's advertising is highly misleading. After subscribing, I requested a refund within five minutes, but my request was denied. Despite not utilizing their service, they refused to accommodate my refund request. I strongly recommend thoroughly researching and reading reviews before committing to their service, as canceling the subscription plan is exceedingly difficult. Considering their customer service policies, I anticipate their business will not be sustainable. Opting for other companies with more favorable terms is advisable.

    I initially subscribed and then decided I did not want a subscription. I notified Unimeal and they said they would freeze my account and then start charging me again. I told them I WAS NOT interested in the subscription and told them to cancel my subscription. This past week I was charged $69.99. I notified them again about this charge but have not heard back.

    I purchased a subscription to Unimeal on June 28, 2024. Less than half an hour later, on that same date, I realized I'd made a mistake. I immediately requested a refund. Minutes had had elapsed between my purchase and the time in which I requested a refund. My request was categorically and summarily denied. It is common business practice across all legitimate sites to honor the sort of request I made, given the amount of time that had elapsed since the purchase, and that I hadn't even downloaded the app, much less used the site. A customer rep from the billing department wrote to say that under no circumstances would Unimeal refund my money. Not even a few minutes after initial contact, when the site clearly had not even been entered by me, or for that matter, the app downloaded. I am not in the habit of writing bad reviews, but Unimeal certainly seems to qualify as a candidate for poor press. It is not about the money outlay at this point, which was about $20, ultimately spent on hours of aggravation. Rather this is about principle. Unimeal seems to be a scam operation!

    I can not believe I did not read these reviews first and thank goodness for American Express because they have your back when dealing with companies like this. Unimeal makes cancellation impossible, they offer you free months so you do not cancel and NO OPTION to actually cancel. I should not have to cancel anything since I only committed to 1 month. You can write to customer service and they give you vague answers but never the answer to could you confirm I am cancelled or why are you charging me a continued monthly subscription when I only signed up for 1 month. NO RESPONSE. This is not right, businesses should not be allowed to do this to people. Unimeal when you respond, answer the questions in this complaint. This should be a 0 star company and their responses are not sincere or truthful.

    The day I bought this program was slto see if there is any different in the meal from what I have had previously. In my case everything happen in the same day I downloaded their app and started to look at the meals and I saw a lot with milk and I am lactose intolerant so then I email then to cancel my subscription the very same day, and they are not stupid they know the you can get a refunded until 24hrs it is on their policy and even knowing they took their time to respond, oh surprised 24hrs later. They pursued me so badly to stay with them and keep trying their horrendous meal app, that it is more like a copy to internet recipes. Now I lost 85.92$, and the first thing I noticed was that they charged me for multiple things that I didn't want and never agree, I only wanted a trial of 29.96 for a month but not for an additional charges. Well, I hope my experience helps other people not to fall for this SCAM. I still fighting with the people through email in the end they refused to refund me because they say I pass the 24hrs those thief!! I have no other option than to cancel my debit card for them to not keep charging me with their fake program.

    The app does not work. It is a SCAM! The bad review are correct. They are mney grabers.
