      I am writing to file a formal complaint regarding the unjustified charges I have been receiving from Desert Radiology Solutions (DRS), P.O. Box 90084-1645. These charges are now also being pursued by *************** for collection, despite having no explanation or **************** September 2024, while I was in *********, I visited an urgent care facility, underwent some tests, and was referred to a hospital. All providers and tests were in-network. After receiving my Explanation of Benefits (EOB) from my health insurance, I paid all required charges in full.However, Desert Radiology Solutions is billing me $2,809 for services that do not appear on any EOB or claim record from my health insurance (Blue Cross/Blue Shield or Providence Health Plan). Despite multiple requests, I have not been provided with an itemized bill or any proof of what this charge is for.I have no clue why I am being billed for this amount, as it does not appear on my insurance records at all. I consider this to be either a scam attempt or a demonstration of bad faith.I request that Desert Radiology Solutions and *************** cease all collection efforts and provide a full explanation of these charges, including an itemized bill and insurance claim information. If these unwarranted bills continue, I will pursue all available legal remedies to protect myself.I look forward to your prompt response and a resolution of this matter. Thank you.

      I went for an x-ray on 2/10/2025. I presented my insurance card and was told my portion would be $50.40. Upon receiving the settled claim from ******, my portion was on $15.I received another bill from Desert Radiology telling me I owed $15. I called and explained to the representative that not only did they over bill me initially, they were now trying to double bill me. They OWE me $35.40.This is the second time they have done this deceptive practice.

      Service date 8/29/2024 . It was a brain scan that was approved by ******. Desert Radiology billed Humana $ ******** and Humana paid $196.85 in September 2024, claim number ***************. The Humana discount was $1,802.19 as agreed. Desert Radiology claimed they paid the $196.85 but took back the payment. Desert Radiology billed them three times for the same service and Humana replied that it was paid and was not taken back. I have sent the proof billing statement to Desert Radiology. to ******************************************* in January 2025 and again in February 2025 with no response. I called ****** and they said it paid it is a problem with Desert Radiology accounting system. I can not get Desert Radiology to research this problem. They now referred me to a collection agency **************, I sent a certified letter to Desert Radiology main office on April 3, 2025 with proof of Humana payment. Still no response

      On March 16, 2024, I received emergency treatment at ********************** following a hit-and-run accident. I was never informed that Desert Radiology would be involved in my care or that I would receive a separate bill from them. I never signed anything, never spoke to anyone from DRS, and had no opportunity to understand or approve the charges.Several months later, I discovered that Desert Radiology billed me $2,713.00 and had already sent the account to collections without sending me a single bill, notice, or phone call. I never received any communication from *** before this debt appeared on my credit report through a collection agency (PlusFour).As an uninsured individual supporting a disabled spouse and a young child, this surprise debt and the damage to my credit have caused significant harm. I have been actively applying for financial assistance and attempting to dispute the charges, but *** has made no effort to contact me or resolve the issue ethically.I am filing this complaint because I believe Desert Radiologys actions are predatory and deceptive. No patient should have a debt reported without notice, especially from a provider they never knowingly interacted with.

The dates the statements went out were on 03/26,05/05/and 06/14/2024. Please contact the billing office and plus four collection agency for any additional questions.

      I had x-rays done on 9/17/2024 at ******************************* in ****, **. The bill hospital outsourced to Desert ******************** of *********, **. Although I have ******** and a secondary policy, I received a bill from DRS for the entire amount as nothing was submitted to insurance since they don't accept ********. I gave them my insurance info. Today, I called again today. I was told by Cherry that they have my insurance info but sent a 5/8/24 bill to collection without billing ins. Supervisor is working on 4/10/24 and 9/17/24 bill. It seems to be their practice to bill in full without submitting insurance and then threaten to send to collections which DRS did with the 5/8 bill. We discussed and ****** agreed that this was fraud

      I had testing done at the ************** location on December 12, 2023. One of the tests was a mammogram, which I had to pay a $50 co-pay for that specific test. I ended up not having the mammogram at all and was told I would receive a $50 refund in the mail within 90 days. I still have not been reimbursed this amount despite the numerous phone calls, emails, and promises that I will receive a check in 30 days or 90 days.

      I am rejecting this response because: The response is what I've been told for nearly 13 months. My most recent conversation about this matter was just before I contacted BBB. I provided images of my checking account showing I paid $50 for that visit (for the mammogram that wasn't done). Your records should reflect the same and should also show that a refund was never issued to me. I was told I needed to wait 90 days to receive a refund check and it's been over 9 months since I was given this information. 

      I'm not sure why you referred to the company as "Red Rock Radiology," unless the name has changed or it's a parent company. The location where the copay was made in December 2023, was Desert Radiology on **************. I just want to ensure this is the correct company.

      6/18, I had a scheduled Pet Scan at Desert Radiology, where they told me the total is $2027, and I paid $500 with my *** toward that, agent told me rest of the bill will be mailed to me. When I received the bill it was $2027, so I called them and send the *** transaction statement and they didnt do anything, its been 5 months, the issue is unresolved and they keep sending me the same bill regardless of my constant phone calls and emails to them.

      I was hospitalized December 7 th 2021. I had CT scan that was never billed to my insurance which was Humana at the time. I only became aware of this when it appeared on my credit report. I have tried for over a year to have this corrected. I recently was on a three way call with Humana and Desert Radiology. This is not my responsibility. Desert Radiology now states they will submit the bill now almost four years later and once denied they will start investigation. Now they can't answer if they even submitted a bill I have been told this before. I need this off my credit report.

      They are attempting to collect a debt that I do not owe. I have not paid anything, but they are continuing to bill me for a procedure that did not occur. I have spoken with them multiple times, and the same woman answers the phone every time. She does not accept any of my addresses on file, insisting none of them are accurate, and then asks for different forms of identification. I provided my medical insurance cards, and then was told through an email that the situation was resolved.However, the same conversation repeated itself when we spoke today. She behaved as if she did not have my medical cards on file, even though they were provided. She attempted to get me to tell her my address and phone number, stating they were not on file. I have no recollection of this procedure ever having occurred. I did not visit the ** during October of 2022, but this is when they stated I had this done. I would like this resolved as soon as possible, because this fraudulent claim is effecting my credit.Thank you for your time.

      Desert radiology wrongfully and fraudulently billed us for $1400 stating that insurance denied the claim. My husband paid without reviewing the bill. When I contacted insurance they said ** never attempted to file a claim. This was on 9/6/24. Since then ** submitted a claim, was paid for the claim on 9/27 and we have yet to receive repayment even after 5 emails, 4 calls. They keep on coming up with new excuses as to why. They now said they cannot accept my EOB it has to be faxed from my insurance. So we did that today and now another 7-10days for them to receive a fax, post to our account and then ***** days for review. This is all just a scam and fraud which does not align with their core values of integrity "We are truthful with others as well as ourselves" and ACCOUNTABILITY, "We take responsibility for our actions. We acknowledge that each of us has a role in the success of our practice". They have yet to practice either of those core values and instead have just provided a constant run around of obstacles we must overcome in order to get our $1300+ back. They even went as far as saying we never paid until I provided proof of payment.
