If I could leave zero starts I would. Threatening call and emails regarding photos used on website and immediately taken down. Scare tactics and harassment with demands for thousands of dollars for 2 pix that have a value of less than $50. I'm sure people pay because of the threats and they don't want a law firm after them. Completely unethical scammers that should be ashamed and need to be investigated. I'm sure most of these "they saved my life" reviews are fake to drown out the copyright scam reviews which is probably their core business. Karma is a ***** and these people have earned a big tab. These scumbags shouldn't be practicing law they should be in jail.

This law firm Higbee & Associates should be investigated by the Attorney General for harassment and trying to extort money from nonprofits and innocent individuals. What they are doing is harassment and they send dozens of emails and letters to unsuspecting people who they claim have infringed a copyright law. They demand money or face a threat of a court lawsuit. This is harassment. Our nonprofit website was created by a designer and he used a cover image of a newspaper, as soon as we realized this was not to be used it was taken down, Higbee & Associates is still insisting on payment for using the image or going to court and facing a lawsuit. They apparently do this to many people. The Attorney General needs to find out about their aggressive tactics which are a form of intimidation. The misrepresentation, abuse of the legal process, or making false legal threats could cross into unlawful territory, this is where the Attorney General or the State Bar should get involved.

If I could give a million stars I would!!! This law firm changed my life!!! I now have the peace of mind I desperately needed. I am now in the middle of a background for a great paying job, that I will now get thanks to the hours and hours that this team put into my case. Plus being able to do a payment plan really made my life easier. They responded promptly to my emails, and put every worry I had to rest!!I I would do business with them again a million times over!!

I can’t thank Higbee and Associates / Record Be Gone enough for their help with my case. After multiple failed attempts to handle it on my own, I finally decided to hire a professional—and it was the best decision I could have made. Not only did they get my charge reduced to a misdemeanor, but ultimately the case was dismissed entirely. I have been trying to do this for over 10 years and tfor the price, it was well worth it.
Matthew ******** team was knowledgeable, responsive, and genuinely cared about the outcome. They walked me through every step, kept me informed, and showed up to the hearing without me. I wish I had hired them sooner and not wasted so much time. If you’re dealing with a legal issue regarding record clearing, I hiighly recommend giving H&A a shot.

Got threatening call and emails regarding photos on a non-profit website. They "claim" to represent picrights, which I seriously doubt based on their tactics because the letter specifically says "if you are a non-commercial entity or if you do not conduct business in the US, please let us know as you are probably receiving this letter in error". When I explained we are a non-profit (non-commercial), that didn't stop the threats. Clearly the caller didn't read their own letter.
People must be succumbing to the threats because these scumbags are still in business. SMH.

This law firm should not be taking any cases in Illinois as it has no lawyers here .
Not to mention the only thing they do for you is file paperwork . There is no prep no follow ups just terrible advise.

Higbee & Associates is the Real Deal! Their online portal makes it so simple to stay on top of updates, sign forms etc. I sat back and let them do their thing and they cleared up multiple situations for me. I couldn’t be more thankful to have my life and confidence back. All the staff were communicative through the whole process and I couldn’t be more thankful.
Thank you again Higbee & Associates! Much Love!
