Life Status 360 continued to report me as deceased to my Union and Pension Provider which caused his Pension Payments to be stopped by the Union and Pension Provider. I have repeatedly called Life Status 360 advising several of its employees to remove me from their list of deceased individuals and stop contacting me, my Union or Pension Provider.

    Business Response

    Date: 10/19/2023

    Dear
    Mr. ******,

    I’d
like to briefly explain what it is we do and how our service works so you can
understand why LifeStatus360 is not at fault here. Our customers provide us with their
participant data and we monitor those participants against our death databases
(SSA, States of Vital Records, Obituaries, etc.).
When our software finds a death match on the data provided to us by our customer, we present
that information to them. Obituaries do not contain SSN information therefore it is incumbent upon our customer to do
their due diligence in verifying if the obituary is a true match to their participant before
taking further action in their records.

As we've mentioned to you via email a few times over the past few months, deaths oftentimes go unreported to the SSA and State which makes obituary matching such a vital service to our customers. Obituary Matching can catch those deaths that don't make it into the death database.

    Again, LifeStatus360
did NOT report you as deceased. We reported an obituary that matched on the data provided to us by your Union (First Name, Last Name, and Date of Birth). Should you have any questions or need further clarification on the issue, please reach out to us at any time.

    Take care,

    LifeStatus360
