      I had gone in for my wisdom teeth to be removed. They told me my insurance would cover a portion of the procedure if not all of the bill. So, I wasn't expecting to pay anything, but I figured the most would be (if I had to pay) at least $200 on-top of my copay of $273. But surprise surprise, their billing department didn’t actually check my coverage and now I’m left with a $1,236 bill that I cannot pay. I then asked if we can come to an agreement (offered to pay for 1/2 of the $1,236 to settle the account) for payment due to their error/neglect of doing their due diligence, which they admitted too, but they said, “No you can pay the full price, or it will go to I collections”.

      As far as their work goes, due to the surgeons inability to suture correctly, my back gums are bumpy and my bottom left jaw has a ridge that food keeps getting stuck in.

      They neglected to do their due diligence by checking my insurance before allowing a surgery to proceed, a surgery that if I’d known I’d get a $1600 bill from, I would not have done.

      Patient submitted incorrect information as we did verify patient insurance benefits prior to treatment. Patient also signed a contractual agreement for estimated treatment cost. I am happy to submitt documentation and to let you know we gave patient a generous discount to resolve her concerns.
