I began seeing old Richard back in October of 2022 and after a couple sessions he told me he was 100% sure that I qualified for social security disability benefits. He told me he would help me apply in session as it is difficult for me to do these things on my own. I got together everything I needed for him to file and was told that he would be extraditing the application to get me help as soon as possible and by November it was poof, supposedly filed. He told me however for me to get approved for benefits I would have to continue seeing him and receiving treatment. I am a self employed rideshare driver in Reno and I'm barely able to work due to my mental health so the money I paid to this goofball was needed money for bills, food etc. I needed the help however so I sacrificed and continued seeing him. I checked my mail every day for half a year and still received nothing from the SSA, not even a letter to tell me they received my application. Last month in May I called the SSA, waited the hour to speak to someone and was told there was nothing on file for me, no pending applications, nothing. I immediately reached out to old Rick and asked for a refund of only the amount that I paid him for the sessions that were merely related to the SSA application. The rest of our appointments were just me sitting in a trash office with a guy who takes his shoes off and answers his phone during "sessions." I only wanted a refund for the service not rendered. He told me to prove it, to prove that the SSA hasn't received an application and blamed them for supposedly destroying my application. I called SSA and confirmed again with a different representative, and I also went to the Reno SSA office and got a stamped document showing that I have had no applications submitted, have none pending and am receiving no benefits. He still refuses to refund me and has continuously gas lit me and even threatened to not give my diagnosis to the SSA when called upon so I wouldn't get approved.
