First time and they knocked it out of the park! I put my information up and was contacted by a good amount of attorneys.I chose the one who had the best response to my problem. He didn't sugar coat the case and let me know that it was an uphill battle but he would do his best. He did and the verdict was favorable to us. I don't know if I can say his name here. But I would definitely use him again. Thanks Legal Match for giving me a good start in that journey that's now over.

Awful company that provides you with terrible leads, people with no money who waste your time, and a rude staff that refuses to help and harrasses you.

We are sorry to hear about your experience with LegalMatch. We see from your account history that you and your staff have consistently refused any assistance from LegalMatch's support staff on ways to improve your performance. Hopefully you will come to understand that for our partnership to work, we both have a role in your success. We also see you continue to use the LegalMatch service on an almost daily basis. Cases do fluctuate, and with time we believe good cases will come to your law firm. Best of luck to you.

If you're an attorney looking to grow your practice, skip legal match. They promise you the leads are properly vetted and can afford an attorney. It's been my experience in the almost 3 months I've been with them, that is not correct. Most are very low income. I do criminal defense and after I speak with them for a few minutes, I know they need a court appointed attorney. Some have flat out asked if I can take their cases probono. I'm not confident in their intake process or how they vet their leads. I wish I would've read reviews before signing up.

This attorney already wrote the same review about us on Trustpilot. We will repeat our same response here: This review is from an attorney who used our service for just 2 months! We are happy to hear you are so far breaking even, but it isn't fair to project every attorney's experience on LegalMatch from the two months you used it during the summer doldrums, in a relatively small allocation area, for a single area of law. It is also normal for your account manager to be more involved in the beginning of your on-boarding, and then less so later on. A call from them every month or two should be expected; you can always reach out to them on your own if you need more help.

An attorney is absolutely not entitled to retain any fees that haven't been earned. LegalMatch provides the forum for attorneys and clients to meet, but does not share in any fees paid to the attorneys or have any involvement in the legal representation, so we don't know exactly what happened with your matter. Most attorneys ask for a retainer up front, and then deduct from that at their hourly rate, providing you with a periodic accounting. If you haven't received one, ask it from the lawyer immediately. If they refuse, report them to your state's bar association. Best of luck to you!

My opinion of legal match is that they should be very careful of the lawyers they use, I was scammed by one of their lawyer ********************* that was reported by another client and was still allowed to still be on their site. This lawyer will get money and do nothing and he ran to court a day before my house was to be gone, even the staff at legal match called him many times to do his job and the staff sympathies with me but my $800 was not given back to me. Nothing was done to **** the lawyer i was told to report him to ******************* by legal match and that does not reflect good on legal match because i found him on their site. I need my $800 back ASAP because this lawyer send me an email telling me he quit just because i was telling him to do what he got paid for and he have the nerves to ask for more money for doing nothing, and all the lawyers i have talked to told me he did nothing for my case but only postponed things and did not file anything he should have filed. I was told he should have file an answer even the judge pity me when i appeared in court by myself to file for more time to get another lawyer. This lawyer is a one man show that have no staff and he have loads of work then when you ask him to work on your case he tells you i am only one person and i need my money back for another lawyer to start all over again for me.

We are sorry the lawyer you found on LegalMatch wasn't more helpful. We provide the forum for attorneys and clients to meet, but have no role in how much you pay an attorney, or what they do to represent you. It sounds like you paid this attorney $800 for some type of housing help. Most attorneys in your area charge around $250/hr, so you would be entitled to about 3 hours of the attorney's time, which includes speaking with you on the telephone, reviewing documents, and any court appearances. From what you wrote the attorney did go to court for you, so that alone might have eaten away your $800 deposit. If you feel this attorney is retaining money they didn't earn, we recommend you contact your state's bar association to report the violation. Best of luck to you.

I never got any legal help. I was scammed by someone who go by *********************. I have politely asked her to refund my funds because she pretty much did not ******************* and when i called her ,i was yelled at because i was eager to know how she can help me so i called her early morning between 6am and 7 am. early. That was when i felt something was off and i knew she wasn't what i was looking for. I still hope she would refund my $1,000. I wouldn't recommend this site to anyone. She even told me she was going to come up to the cities to meet up with her kids and she was hoping we would be able to meet, sit down and discuss but it never happened either. Such a bad EXPERIENCE.

We are sorry to hear our service wasn't more helpful. We provide a forum for clients and attorneys to meet, but have no role in what you pay an attorney or the services they provide. It sounds like you hired attorney ********************* for $1000 of work. Attorneys in your area typically charge around $250/hr, so this means you likely were entitled to 4 hrs of the attorney's time, which includes meetings, phone calls, and document review. If you feel the attorney retained unused fees beyond this, you are definitely entitled to it. Reach out to the attorney for an accounting, and if you are still unsatisfied, contact your state's bar association to file a complaint. Good luck!

The actual site is helpful. It's the lawyers who respond to your account that is horrible.
