On March 29,2024 a man from Lightning Auctions met us at our storage unit to discuss putting sports cards up for auction he showed us from his phone how much they were selling for recently through his business he left that day with close to or over 10,000 sports cards. They were supposed to go up for auction on the 12th of April. On the 9th of April he text messaged me a photo copy of a contract that I never signed or agreed to. Today I received a call from Lightning Auction’s saying my item our items didn’t sell what did I want to do with them. I called them back and spoke with a lady who first of all had wrong information she wanted to know if I wanted to donate my dolls or have them shipped back to me. I didn’t know what she was talking about since it was sports cards they had not dolls. My fiancé called them back and they told him basically that we weren’t getting any money because they charge a $15 minimum per item fee. We never signed a contract with them so I don’t believe they can just sell our stuff for $20 for boxes and binders out 1,000-3,000 cards in each one and keep $15 of it when we never agreed to that. The attached is a copy of the contact we never signed and photos of the cards that were sold
